The concept of summer changes depending on the country you are in. In regions where there are four seasons, such as Europe, it is from June and lasts about four months, but for those of us in the north of South America, in Venezuela, where we only have two seasons, summer is more or less between November and April, and is also often called dry season.
In this tropical land, although the temperature does not vary much during the year and in that sense we can say that we live in an eternal summer, the changes are clearly noticeable in nature. The photos I share are from a mountain where I usually go to exercise very early in the morning, see how at this time of the year everything around is sepia colored, and also black because of the fires that have occurred.
The weather reports said that winter was coming, which means rainy season in this part of the world, and it didn't fail. Two days ago the first downpour in months fell, and the intense heat that was beating down on us went away a little.
As soon as the rains start the atmosphere cools down and the landscape changes dramatically, in a few weeks everything becomes green, it becomes beautiful, so we can say that in tropical countries like this one, the end of summer is not something sad as it is sometimes perceived elsewhere. We can still go to the beach and enjoy outdoor activities, although there may not be much sun and we have to take an umbrella or a raincoat with us.
El concepto de verano cambia dependiendo del país en el que estés. En regiones donde se dan las cuatro estaciones, como Europa, es a partir de junio y dura unos cuatro meses, pero para los que estamos en el norte de Suramérica, en Venezuela, donde sólo tenemos dos estaciones, el verano es más o menos entre noviembre y abril, y también suele llamarse temporada seca.
En esta tierra tropical, si bien la temperatura no varía mucho durante el año y en ese sentido podemos decir que vivimos en un eterno verano, los cambios se notan claramente en la naturaleza. Las fotos que comparto son de una montaña a la que suelo ir a ejercitarme muy temprano en la mañana, vean cómo en esta época todo alrededor está de color sepia, y también negro por los incendios que ha habido.
Los reportes meteorológicos decían que ya venía el invierno, lo que significa temporada de lluvias en esta parte del mundo, y no falló. Hace dos días cayó el primer aguacero en meses, y el intenso calor que nos azotaba se fue un poco.
Apenas comienzan las lluvias el ambiente se refresca y el paisaje cambia dramáticamente, en pocas semanas todo reverdece, se pone lindo, entonces podemos decir que en los países tropicales como este, el fin del verano no es algo triste como a veces se percibe en otros lados. Podemos seguir yendo a la playa y disfrutar de actividades al aire libre, eso sí, quizás no haya mucho sol y tenemos que llevar con nosotros un paraguas o un impermeable.

Actually, here in my country in April, we sometimes have four seasons in just one week :D Last week, it was like summer here with clear skies and temperature of more than 30 degrees. And yesterday, it was snowing here :D

Acá en Argentina (cómo debes saber) empieza el verano en diciembre y literalmente es una fiesta. Muchos aman este clima porque casi todo el año es frío por acá. Nosotros tenemos el eterno verano en Vzla (dependiendo del estado y la zona), es algo que desean muchos por estos lados. Sí, allá en el hemisferio sur es al revés, y el frío es rudo 🥶, a mí no me gusta nada jajaja, amo el clima tropical, y es algo que les gusta mucho a los extranjeros de Venezuela. Hace unos años, conocí a varios argentinos que habían venido a trabajar aquí y estaban encantados con el clima y vueltos locos con las playas, el Caribe 🏝️😁

Que pana lo de los incendios, pero es algo recurrente cuando esa temporada de sequía llega al máximo. Que bueno que empieza a refrescar, la cosa es que el clima es de extremos, las lluvias también terminan arrasando con cosas. Pero bueno, en general el clima en muchas zonas de Venezuela me parece perfecto.
Sí vale, este año ha habido más incendios y calor 🥵, esperemos que no haya inundaciones. Es verdad, en la mayor parte del país hay clima ideal, gracias por pasar Nina 🙂
