I took these pictures last month when I was at my uncle’s house. It had just rained. The weather was starting to clear up, and I could see the dark clouds slowly moving away, letting small patches of blue sky and light come through.The first few photos were clicked from the balcony of his house. The wooden floor was still wet from the rain, and from there I could see the small village where he lives. In the distance, the hills were wrapped in mist, and the clouds kept moving across, hiding and showing different parts of the ridges.
पिछले महीने मैंने ये तस्वीरें अपने मामा के घर पर खींची थीं। अभी-अभी बारिश हुई थी और हवा बहुत ताज़ा और साफ़ लग रही थी। मौसम धीरे-धीरे खुल रहा था और काले बादल धीरे-धीरे हट रहे थे, जिनके बीच से नीले आसमान और हल्की रोशनी झाँकने लगी थी।पहली कुछ तस्वीरें मैंने उनके घर की बालकनी से लीं। लकड़ी का फ़र्श अभी भी बारिश से भीगा हुआ था। वहाँ से मैं उनका छोटा सा गाँव देख सकती थी। दूर पहाड़ धुंध में लिपटे हुए थे और बादल कभी उन्हें छुपा लेते, तो कभी फिर से दिखा देते।
From the balcony, I could also see a small wooden and mud storehouse in his orchard. It looked really cute and added to the beauty and charm of the place.
बालकनी से मुझे उनके बाग़ में एक छोटा लकड़ी और मिट्टी का स्टोरहाउस भी दिख रहा था। वो बहुत प्यारा लग रहा था और बाग़ की खूबसूरती और भी बढ़ा रहा था।
From where I was standing, I could see the apple orchards below. They were covered with white nets that looked like little tents spread across the green slopes and the mist was slowly moving over the hills.When I looked at the tall deodar trees, they made me feel so small in front of them. The sky was full of clouds, joining with the mountains and covering the valley in a dreamy fog. At one moment, the view looked dramatic with dark blues and greys in the sky, and the next moment, the fog softened everything and hid the faraway ridges. It was all so beautiful.
जहाँ मैं खड़ी थी, वहाँ से नीचे सेब के बाग़ दिख रहे थे। उन पर सफ़ेद जाल ढके हुए थे, जो हरी ढलानों पर छोटे-छोटे टेंट जैसे लग रहे थे। धुंध धीरे-धीरे पहाड़ियों पर घूम रही थी।जब मैंने ऊँचे देवदार के पेड़ों की तरफ देखा, तो उनके सामने मैं बहुत छोटी-सी लगी। आसमान बादलों से भरा हुआ था, जो पहाड़ों से मिलकर पूरी घाटी को धुंधली चादर में लपेट रहे थे। कभी नज़ारा बहुत नाटकीय लगता, जब गहरे नीले और ग्रे रंग आसमान में छा जाते, और कभी धुंध सबकुछ नरम बना देती और दूर की पहाड़ियाँ ओझल हो जातीं। वो सब कुछ कितना ख़ूबसूरत था।
