dejé pasar el tiempo sin premisas,
cuando vi el reloj ya era demasiado tarde,
ya estabas lejos e inalcanzable.
Quisiera calmar el remordimiento,
pero la consciencia me lo critica,
no soy tan bueno como debería,
demostré que por ti nada haría,
a la distancia al menos lees mi poesía.
Te dedico estas breves líneas,
para disculparme por tus lagrimas caídas,
viendo la realidad y siendo sinceros,
lo mejor que te pasó es que te fueras lejos
y terminas de una vez con este pendejo.
No lo intenté, ni el mínimo esfuerzo,
el que salió perdiendo fui yo,
no valoré ese gran corazón.
No lo intenté y hoy el que llora soy yo,
quisiera que me devuelvas un "te perdono",
para dormir tranquilo, ¿es egoísmo?,
siento que eso me falta...
