En desconocidos caminos
hallé la Belleza ocultandose,
desalmados bellacos de
sus ropas le despojaron

En su auxilio fuí a cubrir
su desnudez, vistiendole
con pétalos de flores

Cautivada quedó por mi
buena acción, revelandome
el secreto de su hermosura
en gratitud

Desde ese tiempo, los caminos
cubiertos de flores siempre están
en honor de tan noble bienhechor.

English Version

In unknown paths
I found Beauty hiding,
heartless scoundrels stripped
her clothes stripped her

To her aid I went to cover
her nakedness, dressing her
with flower petals

Captivated by my good deed
revealing to me
the secret of her beauty
in gratitude

Since that time, the roads
covered with flowers are always
in honor of such a noble benefactor.
