Decir la verdad es muy importante para que exista una buena relación en una familia, no hay nada mejor que siempre decir la verdad, sea cual sea y asumir sus consecuencias, para sentir tranquilidad y que pueda existir la confianza entre todos.
Luis era un niño muy astuto y educado, tenía 13 años de edad, vivía junto a su familia. Este niño siempre tenía todo, lo complacían, le daban todo lo que pedía, siempre contaba con el apoyo de sus padres, pero tenía la mala costumbre de siempre decir mentira.
Los padres de este niño, aún no se habían dado cuenta de este pequeño defecto y siempre creían todo lo que Luis les decía ya que era su único hijo, pero sin saberlo le estaban causando un gran daño a su hijo, porque nunca dudaban de lo que él les decía y no le ponían limites a sus complacencias. Algunas veces discutían sobre este tema, de decir mentira, de los daños que pudiera ocasionar, pero con los días se les olvidaba.
Un día se encontraba en su casa, ellos tres, mama, papa e hijo, cenando. En una de esas le preguntaron a Luis sobre cómo le fue en un examen, este respondió, salí muy bien, pero en la realidad había raspado ese examen y los padres le volvieron a creer, ya que a Luis no le importaba porque podía esforzarse más para el próximo.
Los padres y Luis, se retiraron todos de la mesa para dormir, sin decir ninguna palabra y sin verse las caras. Estaban contentos por la respuesta de Luis.
Telling the truth is very important for a good relationship to exist in a family, there is nothing better than always telling the truth, whatever it may be, and accepting its consequences, to feel calm and trust among all.
Luis was a very clever and educated boy, he was 13 years old, he lived with his family. This boy always had everything, they pleased him, they gave him everything he asked for, he always had the support of his parents, but he had the bad habit of always telling lies.
The parents of this child had not yet realized this small defect and always believed everything that Luis told them since he was their only child, but without knowing it they were causing great harm to their son, because they never doubted it. what he told them and they did not put limits on their indulgences. Sometimes they argued about this topic, about telling lies, about the damage it could cause, but as days went by they forgot.
One day he was at his house, the three of them, mom, dad and son, having dinner. In one of those they asked Luis about how he did in an exam, he answered, I did very well, but in reality he had scraped that exam and the parents believed him again, since Luis did not care because he could try harder for the next one.
The parents and Luis all left the table to sleep, without saying a word and without seeing each other's faces. They were happy with Luis' response.

Al día siguiente, todos se pararon con mucha emoción y alegría, ya que tenía una reunión tanto padre como hijo en el colegio. Luis estaba un poco asustado porque los padres iban a buscar su boletín, así que se quedó dormido y dijo que tenía malestar para no ir al colegio.
— Los padres, se la creyeron de nuevo le dieron una pastilla y se fueron.
Cuando llegaron al colegio, esperaron su turno para hablar con la maestra. Los padres están muy contentos, pero en lo que le dieron el boletín se han puesto llorar, era una situación que no podían creer.
Los padres están muy confundidos, ya que Luis siempre le decía que salía excelente y en realidad no era así, cuando vieron todas sus notas, estaba a punto de reprobar ese año escolar, por las bajas calificaciones que tenía. Ellos dudaban de esas notas hasta que le mostraron en físico todos sus exámenes.
The next day, everyone stood up with great emotion and joy, since both father and son had a meeting at school. Luis was a little scared because the parents were going to get his report card, so he fell asleep and said that he was upset because he didn't go to school.
— The parents believed her again, gave her a pill and left.
When they got to school, they waited their turn to talk to the teacher. The parents are very happy, but when they received the bulletin they began to cry, it was a situation that they could not believe.
The parents are very confused, since Luis always told him that he was excellent and in reality it was not like that, when they saw all his grades, he was about to fail that school year, due to the low grades he had. They doubted those grades until they showed him all of his physical exams.

Los padres regresaron a su casa, estaban muy apenados con la profesora y tenía que hablar con Luis sobre la situación que estaba pasando. Era la primera vez que le pasaba esto a la familia y no sabían cómo llevar y tomar esta situación.
Cuando llegaron los padres a la casa, Luis estaba hablando por teléfono y jugando en su Play como si no pasara nada. Así que tuvieron que sentarlo y hablarle con un tono de voz un poco alta, era la que primera vez que le hablaban así, para que les explicara que es lo que estaba pasando con sus notas del colegio.
Luis les respondió:
— Mama y papa, disculpen por no decirle desde un principio sobre mis notas, es que pensé que se podían molestar con conmigo y no quería eso, así que era más fácil decirle una mentira y olvidar ese tema.
Sin más que decir, los padres se quedaron callados por unos segundos y sorprendidos por esa respuesta, así que regañaron a Luis y le dijeron algunas palabras y que no se volviera a cometer esos errores. Luis se levantó y abrazo a sus padres muy fuertes.
The parents returned home, they were very upset with the teacher and had to talk to Luis about the situation that was happening. It was the first time this had happened to the family and they did not know how to deal with this situation.
When the parents arrived at the house, Luis was talking on the phone and playing on his Play as if nothing had happened. So they had to sit him down and talk to him with a slightly loud tone of voice, it was the first time they spoke to him like that, so that he would explain to them what was happening with his school grades.
Louis replied:
— Mom and dad, sorry for not telling you from the beginning about my grades, I thought you could be upset with me and I didn't want that, so it was easier to tell you a lie and forget about it.
Without more to say, the parents remained silent for a few seconds and surprised by that response, so they scolded Luis and told him a few words and that he would not make those mistakes again. Luis got up and hugged his parents very strongly.

Ese mismo día, le ensañaron a Luis que decir una mentira, puede ocasionar muchos problemas y que se verá afectado en un futuro, además a los padres siempre hay que decirle la verdad, y ellos verán cómo te apoyan, así que Luis, tomo ese consejo y aprendizaje.
Los padres lo castigaron por un par de semanas, no lo complacieron más de ahora en adelante tenía que ganarse las cosas, para que reflexionara lo que había hecho, así no lo volviera a repetir y a decir ninguna mentira a sus padres, ni en el colegio y a ningún lado que vaya.
Luis más nunca volvió a decir una mentira, porque se dio cuenta de que eso era malo y se ve feo en una persona, ya sea adulta, joven o niño.
That same day, they taught Luis that telling a lie can cause many problems and that he will be affected in the future, besides parents always have to be told the truth, and they will see how they support you, so Luis, I take that advice and learning.
His parents punished him for a couple of weeks, they didn't please him anymore, from now on he had to earn things, so that he would reflect on what he had done, so he wouldn't repeat it again and tell his parents no lies, not even at school and nowhere to go.
Luis never again told a lie, because he realized that it was bad and it looks ugly on a person, whether they are an adult, a young person or a child.
Buenas reflexión amigo, conozco a personas que no les gusta decir la verdad, incluso mienten por todo, vivo el día a día con eso, la verdad es desagradable y no me gusta, soy de los piensa que la verdad siempre es lo mejor. Saludos!
