Mark excitedly switched on his new time machine. He typed in the coordinates of the Victorian Era and pressed "start".
Suddenly, a blinding flash. He blinked in a daze. Everything was dark and smelled bad. Where had he gone?
A metallic sound made him turn around. Two red eyes glowed in the blackness. Screws squeaked as they turned.
Mark gasped: in front of him stood a giant Victorian robot out of control.
The machine had failed - instead of the Victorian Age, he had travelled into the future and now this killer robot wanted to add him to its collection of victims.
Martin ran in terror, not knowing how to get back.
