Esperanza, una chica alegre, ilusionada, optimista, con una seguridad y confianza invaluable, siempre sonriente y soñadora, con la creencia firme de que todo lo lograría.
Esta chica era gran amiga de Vida, una dupla inigualable, cuando vida se unía con esperanza, sus logros eran memorables, alcanzaban sus metas, Vida siempre ponía el alma y los medios, Esperanza la seguridad y el amor por lograrlo todo.
Vida, una chica muy popular, tenía muchas amigas y otras que querían simplemente destruirla, entre ellas estaba Desconsuelo y Desalienta, ellas siempre con envidia de ver feliz a Esperanza y a Vida, buscaban separar esa amistad.
Un buen día, Esperanza invita a Vida a almorzar, con el objeto de plantearle un proyecto, al llegar, Esperanza sonriendo le dice: Vida, no solo quiero que comamos, este almuerzo también tiene como finalidad que empecemos a planificar nuestro destino.
Con una alegría inigualable, Esperanza expone: Vida, debemos decidir que estudiaremos, ser médicos, ingenieros, actrices, algo que nos guste y destacamos por nuestra virtud.
Esperanza, a cheerful, hopeful, optimistic girl, with an invaluable security and confidence, always smiling and dreamy, with the firm belief that she would achieve everything.
This girl was a great friend of Vida, an incomparable duo, when Vida and Esperanza were united, their achievements were memorable, they reached their goals, Vida always provided the soul and the means, Esperanza the security and the love to achieve everything.
Vida, a very popular girl, had many friends and others who simply wanted to destroy her, among them were Desconsuelo and Desalienta, they were always envious of seeing Esperanza and Vida happy, they sought to separate that friendship.
One fine day, Esperanza invites Vida to lunch, in order to propose a project to her, when she arrives, Esperanza smilingly tells her: Vida, I don't just want us to eat, this lunch also has the purpose of starting to plan our destiny.
With incomparable joy, Esperanza explains: Life, we must decide what we will study, be doctors, engineers, actresses, something we like and stand out for our virtue.
Pensar en tener una casa bella, viajar, ser independientes, un trabajo, un negocio, un hogar, hijos y siempre dejar huellas, ser las mejores, luchar, reírnos y sobre todo ser felices, esto será nuestro plan, Vida.
Vida, al escuchar todo esto, sonrió de felicidad y gritó a viva voz ¡Gracias Esperanza, planificaré mi destino, porque, Vida, será Feliz siempre, por eso y para eso existo!, Esperanza la abrazó fuerte y siguieron su comida.
Al día siguiente Vida, estaba llena de alegría, desbordaba amor, al verla Desconsuelo y Desalienta la abordaron diciendo: ¿Vida cuéntanos el motivo de tu alegría?
Vida las mira y dice: mi destino es ser feliz y junto con esperanza lo lograré todo.
Desconsuelo y Desalienta, la miran de arriba abajo y le comentan: Vida eso no es así de fácil, el transitar por tu destino tiene muchos tropiezos, además tú crees que podrás ser médico, nosotras no lo creemos.
Un hogar, como si fuese tan fácil conseguir un buen hombre, una casa bonita en este país, de broma tendrás un ranchito y trabajo o negocio, no consideramos porque tú, no tendrás ni estudios, ni dinero.
To think about having a beautiful house, to travel, to be independent, to have a job, a business, a home, children and to always leave footprints, to be the best, to fight, to laugh and above all to be happy, this will be our plan, Vida.
Vida, hearing all this, smiled with happiness and shouted loudly Thank you Hope, I plan my destiny, because, Vida, will always be happy, that's why and for that I exist, Hope hugged her tightly and they continued their meal.
The next day Vida, was full of joy, overflowing with love, when they saw her, Desconsuelo and Desalienta approached her saying: Vida, tell us the reason for your joy?
Vida looks at them and says: my destiny is to be happy and together with hope I will achieve everything.
Desconsuelo and Desalienta look her up and down and comment: "Vida, it's not that easy, the journey through your destiny has many stumbling blocks, besides, you think you can be a doctor, we don't believe it.
A home, as if it were so easy to get a good man, a nice house in this country, as a joke you will have a little ranch and a job or business, we don't consider it because you will have neither studies nor money.
Vida al escuchar se pone muy triste, la desilusión la aborda, la seguridad que tenía se perdió y la tristeza la abrumó, toda la alegría y los sueños que Esperanza había hecho que soñara, se desvanecieron.
Vida, llega a su casa llorando, confundida e intrigada, pensando que no podría lograr nada y que su destino era el fracaso, todo se derrumbó, al ver que quizás era verdad lo que Desalienta y Desconsuelo, le comentaron.
Está historia pudiera continuar con un final feliz para Vida, pero solo quería hacer una analogía, de como solo nosotros tenemos la decisión de ser feliz, que en la esperanza, siempre coadyuvara a qué nuestra vida sea mejor.
Que nadie puede quitar nuestro sueño y que por más desconsuelo y desaliento tengamos en nuestra vida, siempre la esperanza será nuestra mejor consejera.
Vida, on hearing this, becomes very sad, disillusionment overtakes her, the security she had was lost and sadness overwhelmed her, all the joy and dreams that Esperanza had made her dream, vanished.
Vida, arrives home crying, confused and intrigued, thinking that she could not achieve anything and that her destiny was failure, everything collapsed, when she saw that perhaps it was true what Desalienta and Desconsuelo told her.
This story could continue with a happy ending for Vida, but I just wanted to make an analogy, as only we have the decision to be happy, that in hope, always contribute to what our life is better.
That no one can take away our dream and that no matter how much despair and discouragement we have in our lives, hope will always be our best advisor.

I've come get realise in life that not every friends is a true friend. Not every friend cares about your success and that's why I live by the principle of "let my success do the talking". All the planning stage I keep everything to myself. If it fails, well I get to be the only one to laugh at myself and if it succeeds, I take everyone by surprise especially those who would have talked me out of doing in the first place.
So we must be careful who we talk to and who we tell about our plans.

Esperanza y Vida, tal vez dos caras de una misma moneda. Una historia emotiva sobre las vivencias de dos personajes que se pueden parecer a cualquiera, dando un amplio margen para que el lector de identifique con cualquiera de ellas capturando su atención. El desarrollo es un tema muy bien hilado desde mi humilde vision. Me agrado mucho leerla y entender el mensaje entre líneas. Gracias por compartirla mi amigo.
