The good looking girls always held some power over the guys. Just how things are. You needed a lot of self-confidence to ask them out and I lacked that. Well I was the geeky guy with glasses, so pretty low on the pecking order anyway. Being young can be tough. I think as you get older you realise that looks are not everything.

No glasses for me, I just went blind between 17 and 19 somewhere. I couldn't see anything but refused to wear them, even for driving. Even without them, I had no confidence.
