De amores prohibidos
Clara y Pedro se conocieron una noche en las festividades de las Minas, el pueblo donde habían nacido desde siempre los miembros de ambas familias; que para entonces no se querían porque el tataratatara abuelo de Clara quiso quitarle la mujer al tataratatara abuelo de Pedro; y para resumir les diré que la mujer, flor de la disputa amorosa, ni fue para uno ni fue para el otro porque mientras los mozos se vivían matando, la moza se enamoró de un hombre que bajó un día al pueblo en busca de una mula y como no la consiguió se llevó a la moza, que de mula no tenía nada y de mujer le sobraba todo.
Desde entonces habían pasado seis generaciones en un lleve que yo también recibo, porque se habían jurado enemistad hasta el fin del cielo; pero, en medio de los campos verdes de las Minas se conocieron Clara y Pedro. Fue amor a primera vista, y como era de esperarse sus familias no aprobaban ese amor. La familia de Pedro seguía acusando a la familia de Clara de haberle acabado con la felicidad al tataratatara abuelo de ellos.
La pareja, decidida a ser feliz se fugó una noche cuando todo el mundo dormía, pero su amor prohibido no pasó desapercibido. La hermana de Pedro, furiosa, decidió buscarlos y enfrentarlos con su machete.
Clara y Pedro, cansados de correr, se escondieron en un mogote en el bosque; exactamente donde la hermana de Pedro los encontró y atacó a Clara con su machete, pero el hermano de Clara, que venía de regreso al pueblo también los había visto y por defender a su hermana se interpuso en el ataque y resultó herido.
Las cosas se pondrían peor si los padres de los involucrados se enteraban de la pelea; de modo que, para retardar la disputa mayor, los cuatro decidieron regresar y al herido lo dejaron escondido en una cabaña de la familia de Pedro para que la hermana de Pedro lo curara.
Pedro y Clara siguieron amándose en silencio y en la distancia, esperando la oportunidad de retomar su huida. Al hermano de Clara lo curó la hermana de Pedro, pero lo enfermó de amor porque el joven se enamoró de la joven. Cuando Clara recibió la siguiente carta con noticias de su hermano, decía que por los momentos no volvería a casa, que se había enamorado de la hermana de Pedro, que se habían fugado a ser feliz para siempre.
Of forbidden loves
Clara and Pedro met one night during the festivities of Las Minas, the village where the members of both families had always been born. The families did not treat each other because Clara's great-great-grandfather once wanted to snatch the woman from Pedro's great-great-grandfather; but to summarize I will tell you that the woman, flower of the love dispute, did not touch neither Clara's great-great-grandfather nor Pedro's great-great-grandfather because while the young men were killing each other, the girl fell in love with a man who went down to the village one day in search of a mule and as he did not get it, he took the girl, who as a mule had nothing and as a woman she had everything.
Since then, six generations had passed, in a single quarrel that seemed never to end because they had sworn enmity to each other until the end of heaven; but, in the middle of the green fields of Las Minas, Clara and Pedro met. It was love at first sight, and as expected, their families did not approve of this love. Pedro's family kept accusing Clara's family of having ruined their great-great-grandfather's happiness.
The couple, determined to be happy, eloped one night when everyone was asleep, but their forbidden love did not go unnoticed. Pedro's sister, furious, decided to look for them and confront them with her machete.
Clara and Pedro, tired of running, hid in a mogote in the forest; exactly where Pedro's sister found them and attacked Clara with her machete, but Clara's brother, who was on his way back to town, had also seen them and in order to defend his sister, got in the way of the attack and was wounded.
Things would get worse if the parents of those involved found out about the fight; so, to delay the major dispute, the four decided to return and the wounded man was left hidden in a hut belonging to Pedro's family so that Pedro's sister could cure him.
Pedro and Clara continued to love each other in silence and in the distance, waiting for the opportunity to resume their escape. Clara's brother was cured by Pedro's sister, but she made him sick with love because the young man fell in love with the young woman. When Clara received the next letter with news from her brother, he said that for the time being he would not return home, that he had fallen in love with Pedro's sister, that they had eloped to their happily ever after.

This is a good story about coincidence of love, Pedro's sister and Clara's Brother and also Pedro having an unending relationship with Clara, I am just so so happy that the new relationship have taken the fate into their hands, then correct the mistakes of their great grandparents.
Continuing the wrong doing of our grandparents is nothing than a terrible mistake, I am grateful this young people's were able to lift the cursed and allow love to prevail in their lifes.☺️🥰😊♥️
