En homenaje a todas las madres🌺
La princesa Jazmín lloraba de tristeza en su hermoso pero solitario castillo...
Había perdido a su madre y por eso
fue llevada de inmediato con su padre: el rey Saúl.

Todo era muy difícil para ella. Con solo 9 años de edad, no podía comprender por qué la vida le había arrebatado a la persona más importante de su corazón, a quien representaba su mundo entero. Por otra parte, no se sentía cómoda hablando de sus sentimientos con su padre porque casi siempre estaba de mal humor.

Lo único que la alegraba de aquel lugar era correr en el jardín y jugar con las mariposas de colores que se posaban sobre las flores. Todo le recordaba a mamá: la hierba verde era similar a la de aquel parque en donde pasaban cada tarde entre letras y carcajadas. No solo leían juntas sus cuentos favoritos; sino que además, su madre realizaba dramatizaciones divertidas de cada personaje con emoción contagiosa.

The only thing that made her happy about that place was running in the garden and playing with the colorful butterflies that perched on the flowers. Everything reminded him of mom: the green grass was similar to that of that park where they spent every afternoon between letters and laughter. They not only read their favorite stories together; but also, his mother performed funny dramatizations of each character with contagious emotion.

La pequeña recordaba esos momentos y con lágrimas rodando por sus tiernas mejillas sonreía en honor a su dulce Estela.
Pasaban los días y la princesa Jazmín se sentía muy sola. Observaba con asombro que en el mágico castillo solo permanecían personas adultas que siempre estaban ocupadas en sus quehaceres y no tenían tiempo de jugar con una niña como ella.

Una tarde de sol; mientras observaba el jardín con cuidadosa atención, notó que había un unicornio rosado que se mostraba pensativo, como si tuviese las mismas ganas que ella tenía de contar con la compañía de alguien... En ese instante recordó las palabras que su madre le había dicho en su primer día de clases:
.
—" Cariño, hoy comienzas una nueva etapa de tu vida, en la que estoy segura de que conocerás a muchos amigos y personas especiales. No obstante, al igual que tú, otros niños también comenzarán esta nueva etapa y es posible que algunos de ellos se muestren distantes o tímidos; pero quiero que recuerdes este principio, hija: —Si deseas tener y hacer amigos, tú debes dar el primer paso"
En ese momento a Jazmín se le iluminaron sus ojos, bajó las escaleras y corrió al jardín, dispuesta a ofrecerle su amistad al mágico unicornio rosado que siempre se veía solo.

The little girl remembered those moments and with tears rolling down her tender cheeks, she smiled in honor of her sweet Estela.
The days passed and Princess Jasmine felt very lonely. She observed with amazement that only adults remained in the magical castle who were always busy with their chores and did not have time to play with a girl like her.

A sunny afternoon; while observing the garden with careful attention, she noticed that there was a pink unicorn that was pensive, as if it had the same desire that she had to have the company of someone... At that moment she remembered the words that her mother had said to her on his first day of school :
—" Honey, today you start a new stage in your life, in which I am sure you will meet many friends and special people. However, just like you, other children will also begin this new stage and it is possible that some of them will be distant or shy; but I want you to remember this principle, daughter: —If you want to have and make friends, you must take the first step"

At that moment, Jasmine's eyes lit up, she went down the stairs and ran to the garden, ready to offer her friendship to the magical pink unicorn that was always seen alone.

Se acercó con cuidado y le regaló una sonrisa del tamaño del sol. El unicornio la miró con ternura y conversaron entre risas toda la tarde. Le habló de sus visitas al reino más cercano y de lo divertido que le resultaba volar a través del arcoíris.

Al cabo de un rato, el unicornio bajó su cabeza y la invitó a subir a su lomo para dar un pequeño paseo.
¡Jazmín no podía creer que estaba volando sobre el cercano bosque encantado, junto a este diferente y nuevo amigo que siempre estuvo allí!
Ese día, la princesa aprendió lo valioso que es tener amigos y lo importantes que son para ayudarnos a aliviar la tristeza; pero lo más importante: comprendió que somos nosotros los que debemos dar el primer paso para encontrar una maravillosa amistad.

He approached carefully and gave her a smile the size of the sun. The unicorn looked at her tenderly and they talked laughing all afternoon. He told her about his visits to the nearest kingdom and how much fun it was to fly across the rainbow.

After a while, the unicorn lowered its head and invited her to climb on its back for a little walk.
.
Jasmine couldn't believe she was flying over the nearby enchanted forest together with this new and different friend who was always there!
.
That day, the princess learned how valuable it is to have friends and how important they are to help us alleviate sadness; but most importantly: he understood that we are the ones who must take the first step to find a wonderful friendship.
