Con el recién completado HardFork 28, han estado sobre el tapete dos temas:
- Disminución de la piscina de recompensas en Hive
- Paridad en nuestros votos, independientemente del mana. Es decir, nuestros votos mantendrán su eficiencia, sin importar si tenemos el maná al 100% o al 50%. Antes, votar con poco maná o con cuentas pequeñas tenía penalizaciones; ahora cada voto cuenta proporcionalmente igual, haciendo que el sistema sea más justo para todos.
Pero de los dos puntos, lo que parece que ha preocupado más a algunos hivers es el primero de estos. Pues, siempre que hay la sensación de que vamos a dejar de ganar, se disparan las alarmas en mucha gente.
Así que decidí dar respuesta a ese primer punto.
Es importante señalar que más allá de lo que explico en el video, los primeros análisis que se han hecho han arrojado un nivel de ganancia (lo que respecta al APR por recompensas de curación) mayor al APR antes del HardFork. Lo cual es un buen indicativo. Sin embargo, tal como lo menciono en el video, los resultados verdaderos los veremos un poco más adelante. Hay que darle tiempo al tiempo.
Entender Hive
El primer paso del video es explicar de dónde sale el dinero de Hive, de dónde sale el pago a los testigos, a los autores, de las recompensas de curación, de dónde salen los fondos que se destinan al DHF, nuestro fondo descentralizado para financiar proyectos de desarrollo en Hive.
Una vez entendido eso, es que podemos afrontar lo que algunos llaman "un error en el diseño" de Hive, que en definitiva es el hecho de incluir en el Virtual Supply, los HBD del fondo de desarrollo antes mencionado.
¿Por qué?
Es importante entender que en los momentos en los que nuestra moneda baja de precio, los HBD del fondo de desarrollo se cuentan como si fueran una gigantesca montaña de HIVE, inflando artificialmente la inflación cuando el precio baja.

Understanding Hive
The first step in the video is to explain where Hive's money comes from, the source of payments to witnesses, authors, and curation rewards, as well as where the funds allocated to the DHF (our decentralized fund to finance development projects on Hive) come from.
Once that is understood, we can address what some call a "design flaw" in Hive, which is basically the fact that the HBDs from the aforementioned development fund were included in the Virtual Supply.
Why?
It is important to understand that when our currency drops in price, the HBD in the development fund count as if they were a gigantic mountain of HIVE, artificially inflating inflation when the price dips.
