A Memorable Victory Achieved Small Card in Splinterlands
Splinterlands is a game where strategy card selection, mental preparation and little luck work together in every match. The value each card cannot be judged by its stats, but using right card in the right situation, it is possible achieve extraordinary results. One such experience was in a recent match I played, where I was finally able achieve victory thanks contribution a small but effective card. The feeling that moment is truly extraordinary, and the entire match has taught me love the game anew.
That is exactly what happened to me in this match.
As the match began, the enemy team's mage and ranged cards began to attack quickly. They also had high speed, so naturally I thought I could retreat at first. But my team had a strong tank card in the front, which had high health and could sustain itself. And behind it was the small but valuable Blackmoor Nymph — whose healing ability was like a lifeline for my entire team.
Every round, whenever my tank started to take damage, Nymph would use her healing ability to bring it back to its feet. No matter how intense the enemy's attack was, my tank was able to continue fighting properly because of the one-by-one healing. If this card hadn't been there in that match, my front line would have collapsed very quickly for sure.
What I liked the most was that I didn't think that a card as simple as Nymph would play such a significant role at first. But in the middle of the battle, I realized that sometimes small forces can make big surprises. This card not only stopped healing but also attacked damaged the enemy from time time which gradually weakened their team.
There was a moment during game when I felt like match might be lost. The enemy spell cards kept trying target my backline. But fortunately, Nymph survived because of their low damage. And that ability to survive turned the tide of the entire match. Because as long as Nymph was alive, there was no chance of my tank falling. This continuous support ultimately made me a strong position, where the enemy team started losing cards one after another.
When the enemy had only two cards left towards the end of the match, I realized that there was no chance of losing in this match today. And at that moment, I realized with some emotion that the entire credit for this victory was due to my little healer card. Although small in size impact was huge. At the end game when I shouted Victory! The screen appeared, and my heart was filled with joy. Getting +40 points in the Silver III League and earning SPS and other tokens as additional rewards the whole effort seemed worthwhile.
The best part of Splinterlands is—there is something to learn in every match. Sometimes battle rules, sometimes mana caps, sometimes enemy composition—every moment is a new experience. And today's experience has taught me that small cards should never be neglected. If card is placed in right position and its abilities can be used correctly, then that card can become the hero entire match.
I am really happy be able play this match. Especially when I see that my own strategy, my own hand-made team my own chosen cards brought me victory—it feels like my own creative power has blossomed anew within game. Playing the game is not only a matter joy, but each match is a small test patience. If you make a mistake lose if you make right decision you win.
Todays match showed that with patience, confidence right strategy, victory will come. And if there is a small but extraordinary card behind that victory, then joy increases even more. Splinterlands gives me this feeling again and again that is why every match is a new thrill for me.
