Among the online card-battle games, Splinterlands has always been a particularly interesting name for me. Because you can't win here just by having strong cards—you need intelligence, strategy, experience, and the right team combination to win. I lost many matches and had to get back up again, I was upset many times, and tried again. However, today's match was completely different. I played a very important battle, where if you made a mistake, you were sure to lose. But after overcoming all obstacles, I finally achieved victory. And I am sharing that experience here in simple language.

The excitement before the match started

The match was in Modern Ranked mode, and the rank was Silver III. Every match at this rank is very challenging, because the opponents are usually experienced players and their cards are also quite advanced. Before match started I realized—this is no ordinary fight. I have been trying increase my rank for a long time so importance this match was even greater for me.

I entered match I saw that the opponents name was PEACEGIVER and he was not in any guild. However looking his rating and powerful cards it was clear that he did not come have fun—he came win.
Card Selection: The Beginning of Strategy
The mana cap of the match was fairly balanced, so I had to coordinate big cards with small cards. I always try to create a lineup where the tank is strong in the front lane, supportive cards in the middle, and high damage-dealers in the back.

My selections for this match included
A strong tank with both satisfactory armor and health
Magic and ranged damage cards in the back
Cards as supports that can buff the team
The opponent also created a great lineup. In particular, their Rhino-type tank in the front row was very strong. The magic attacker in the secondary row was also quite dangerous.

The first two rounds of the match: pressure and uncertainty
I felt in the first round that this match would not be easy. The opponent's tank was so strong that it could take several rounds to break it. Also, the magic damage coming from their backline was penetrating the armor of my cards and directly affecting the health.
However, my team was not going to give up easily. My magic attackers continued to damage the opponent's cards. And my tank survived by absorbing the damage for a long time, which created a big advantage for my team.

The turning point of the match in Round 3
The situation took a new turn as soon as Round 3 arrived. At this time, one of my main attacking cards started to deal extra damage. Again, an important card of the opponent was gradually weakened by the combined attacks of my team.
My team's coordination was getting stronger in this round. The stunning and silencing skills in the middle were helping to reduce the opponent's damage. I understood at that moment—the match could go in my favor.
Round 5 The opponent started to falter
In round 5, the opponent's tank collapsed. As soon as it collapsed, their entire defense system became weak. They could no longer fight with the same strength as before. And I did not miss this opportunity.
My cards entered the opponent's row one after another and started hitting them. Sometimes it seemed that I might lose the match, but gradually it turned out that my plan was right and each card was playing its role properly.
The last-minute turn cleared my path to victory

By round 7–8 opponent had very few cards left. And that's when I realized that victory was only a matter time. The ranged attacker in my last row performed great quickly finished off remaining enemies.
Finally after battle ended long-awaited word appeared on screen—VICTORY!
Silver III rank +20 points, with 148 SPS and 0.295 chest reward. This reward is really satisfying after a long time of hard work.
What I learned from this match
This important match taught me a few new things
The right tank selection is very important. If the cards in front are not strong, the backline does not get a chance to work.
A balanced team is the most effective. Magic alone or just ranged is not enough—you have to create strength in everything.
The direction of the match can change depending on the round. Sometimes luck changes in a single round.
There is no substitute for patience and experience. I had accept many losses but experience ultimately brought victory.
Splinterlands is not just game—it is a great place for patience strategy learning. The joy of winning today battle is different because it was difficult my improvement is visible. I believe I can do better in future. Battle Link:https://splinterlands.com/battle/sl_cb1bb2c95baab16b682800ca67489497?ref=aburihan1
