Tracking the Vouchers

Last night in the Telegram group of the CTP community, @jongolson asked my opinion about how the voucher prices would evolve for Splinterlands. At the time, I couldn't give an answer. This gave me the motivation to go on a discovery journey to try to find the location of the voucher tokens... I mainly wanted to see how many tokens are actually on the market to be purchased.

Check out the video for all the details of my research :-)

I sold a Voucher today and bought some more Index with the Hive that I got. Then I sold a few more tokens and brought my total of Index to 400. My first goal is to accumulate 500 Index. Jon helped me get the Voucher sold. I had a sell order that was just bit too high. As soon as I brought it down a little it went really quickly. This is so fun! :-)

You have a nice plan there and I agree these markets can be quite exciting when you are buying and selling stuff :-). Thanks for stopping by!

You're welcome, Achim and Thank you! I am doing my best to do as much as possible with what I am earning. I want to show people that it can be done this way. Just requires a little more time and effort. Enjoy your Wednesday!😀

What a great video, I love all your research! ~@clove71

Thanks a lot for the curation!

Thank you for reseaching this information. I was actually wondering the same thing so I bet there were several others wondering as well. With so many small holders of Voucher, this makes it looks there will be a large amount over 100,000 of the million presale packs that may not be sold during the 30 day presale period unless there is a big rush in the final days. Do you think if the million does not sale in that time period they will extend the presale and let it last until all the 1st million have been sold? Or would they end it and start the public sale on November 17th?

They have actually planned a period of 7 or 14 days after the pre-sale during which you can still buy with vouchers. After that the pre-sale is finished I believe.

Great stuff Achim as always. Very interesrting, I never thought about checking the vouchers before. Love the enthusiasm in your voice. :-)

Thanks for stopping by :-)

Thanks for this video, so vouchers ammount now is more than what is actually needed at this phase, but even if their price falls down i don't think i would buy any of them because i just want the packs (20 to 30 pack), i can't buy more so i am not looking for any promo card to drop for me.
i am happy that we won't need the vouchers any more when the pre sale ends and 2M packs get sold after it.

Actually if you don't want the promo cards, you can already purchase Chaos legion packs on hive-engine. There you can buy a pack for less than 10 Hive each. I believe that once the pre-sale is finished, prices of packs will drop continuously to go even under 4$ per pack at a later stage.

So i can wait for them to drop more as i am looking for the highest ammount of cards to build my deck.
İf i bought them now from the hive engine it won't count into the promo drop, will it ?

When you buy cards from hive-engine they won't count for the promo drop or all the other following airdrops. That's why you can get the packs much cheaper there. I believe that after the airdrop and some weeks down the road, it will be possible to purchase packs even below 4$. In the past there were always whales that bought with maximal discounts and resold for a slightly higher price on hive-engine.

Thanks a lot for the tip! It's greatly appreciated :-)

good analysis @achim03.
I am not into splinterlands, but i have a few dec in the game and also got some SPS,SPT and Vouchers from Index tokens.
I do claim SPS in the game everyday and stake.
since i am not going to buy any packs, i will sell the vouchers.

I think that the vouchers are way too expensive and I prefer to sell them and put the money aside to buy packs later :-). Or as you do use the income from the vouchers for other things...

You always sound excited in your videos! Love your energy!

Thanks :-) That's nice to hear !

Thanks for sharing bro, great referral offer :)

Oh that is definitely interesting. So the price should just slowly decrease over time gradually rather than having any last minute FOMO.

That's how I see it. I see the big players already having quite a lot of vouchers and there are actually not that many people who trade the tokens. That's why I believe the price evolution will be quite linear. Of course I can't give any guarantee for that :-).
