Saludos amigos de #splinterlands, el día de hoy comparto esta ilustración de Tarsa, una carta tipo fuego que me llamó mucho la atención por su diseño, muy similar a un personaje de League of Legends, que solía usar hace años cuando lo jugaba. Esta carta la conseguí en una página que aconseja sobre las mejores cartas del juego y explica la jugabilidad y estrategia de ese top 10 de monstruos, en los cuales Tarsa está de primera, escogiendo como la carta a ilustrar para el concurso semanal de Splinterlands.

Greetings friends of #splinterlands, today I share this illustration of Tarsa, a fire type card that caught my attention for its design, very similar to a character from League of Legends, which I used to use years ago when I played it. I got this card from a page that gives advice on the best cards in the game and explains the gameplay and strategy of that top 10 monsters, in which Tarsa is top, choosing it as the card to illustrate for the weekly Splinterlands contest.

Realizar esta carta fue una experiencia genial, más al momento de realizar los detalles de fuego y dar esa sensación de calor y control que ella posee sobre este elemento, es la segunda vez que realizó una carta de tipo fuego y en ambas hice el efecto de calor en las formas y en el ambiente. Es raro que no haya realizado cartas de tipo hierba siendo este mi elemento favorito, pero lo tendré en cuenta para las próximas ilustraciones y participaciones a este concurso semanal, o ilustraciones personales de estas cartas fuera de él.

Making this card was a great experience, more at the time of making the details of fire and give that feeling of warmth and control that she has over this element. It is the second time she made a fire type card and in both I made the effect of heat in the forms and in the environment. It is rare that I have not made cards of grass type being this my favorite element, but I will keep it in mind for the next illustrations and participations to this weekly contest, or personal illustrations of these cards outside of it.

Ella es Tarsa, forma parte de las criaturas del elemento fuego. Posee una naturaleza Rara y tiene un costo de 4 Mana. Tiene la habilidad de brindar +1 de Ataque a los monstruos aliados con ataque cuerpo a cuerpo y +1 de Salud a todos los monstruos aliados.

She is Tarsa, she is part of the creatures of the fire element. She has a Rare nature and has a cost of 4 Mana. She has the ability to give +1 Attack to allied monsters with melee attack and +1 Health to all allied monsters.

Realicé la pose con el lápiz digital y un tono azul, buscando que una de las manos estuviese más frontal para darle personalidad a la pose.

I made the pose with the digital pencil and a blue tone, looking for one of the hands to be more frontal to give personality to the pose.

Con el color morado empecé a definir el dibujo, realizando el cabello, ojos, ropa, dedos y otros elementos de Tarsa, a su vez modifiqué la segunda mano.

With the purple color I began to define the drawing, making the hair, eyes, clothes, fingers and other elements of Tarsa, at the same time I modified the second hand.

Con la tinta china y el color negro empecé el trabajo de línea con mucho cuidado, una vez terminado eliminé las dos primeras capas del dibujo.

With the Indian ink and the black color I started the line work very carefully, once finished I eliminated the first two layers of the drawing.

Realicé la capa del relleno usando sus respectivos tonos para cada área del dibujo.

I made the fill layer using their respective tones for each area of the drawing.

Apliqué una capa de sombras con el morado oscuro y el aerógrafo triangular, dándole volumen al dibujo.

I applied a layer of shadows with the dark purple and the triangular airbrush, giving volume to the drawing.

Empecé a detallar todas las áreas de piel usando morado, carne, rosado, y otros tonos de beige. También detalle la parte azul de la ropa, aplicando sombra y brillo y los patrones de línea verde y violeta.

I started detailing all the skin areas using purple, flesh, pink, and other shades of beige. I also detailed the blue part of the clothes, applying shadow and shimmer and the green and violet line patterns.

En una nueva capa detalle la parte blanca de la ropa, después en una nueva capa empecé a detallar el cabello con tonos de rojo, anaranjado y amarillo.

In a new layer I detailed the white part of the clothes, then in a new layer I started detailing the hair with shades of red, orange and yellow.

Detallé los ojos y realicé las llamas que emana de sus manos con diversos tonos de amarillo.

I detailed the eyes and made the flames emanating from his hands with different shades of yellow.

Para el fondo realicé un degradado con negro y diversos tonos de rojo, anaranjado y amarillo. Después en una capa realice la flama frontal y pequeñas brasas de amarillo y anaranjado.

For the background I made a gradient with black and various shades of red, orange and yellow. Then in a layer I made the frontal flame and small embers of yellow and orange.

Posiblemente me anime a retomar el juego de Splinterlands y así conocer nuevas cartas para seguir ilustrando cada semana y compartiendo el paso a paso y los resultados finales con ustedes.
