Hope everyone is doing well and super hyped for the new Conclave Arcana reward cards coming.
@affliction here with a new post on a Splinterlands battle focusing on Explosive Weaponry ruleset and my go to line up for this.
BATTLE RULES :
- Mana Cap : 35
- Rule sets :
Now You See Me: All units have the Camouflage ability.
Explosive Weaponry: All monsters gain the Blast ability.
Explosive Weaponry: All units have 0 armor and cannot gain armor from Archons or abilities.

RULE SET IN THE SPOTLIGHT:
All monsters gain the Blast ability.
Reflection Shields is very important in this ruleset. Speed (Swiftness and Slow) are important as well. You can also place a Martyr card in the 2nd position as a sacrificial card to take advantage of this ruleset.
Explosive Weaponry is a chaotic and high-damage ruleset where every monster gains the Blast ability. This means that when a monster hits its target, nearby enemies also take half of that damage.
Reflection Shield, Repair, Tank Heal, Triage and Corrupted Healing are the most useful abilities to counter Explosive Weaponry and the positioning of cards plays a critical role to win the battles.
In this article today we will be focusing on one such battle and I'll explain my line-up and how it helped me to win the battle.

THE HIGHLIGHTS :
- Round 1:
Round one started with the opponent team's Barashkukor taking out our Moribund Arrowbait, justifying the reason it was part of my line up 😁
And it was resurrected right away by our Commander Goff. In the following turn it was taken down by Night Reaper benefiting the fellow Ulund allies in our line up.
Moribund Arrowbait however, was revived again boosting the stats of Thunderous Herald and Arcane Skinwalker one more time.
Next our Arcane Skinwalker attacked the opponent and wiped out the Elanor Bravefoot curtesy of the blast damage from the Explosive Weaponry ruleset.
Once it was the turn of our Thunderous Herald to attack next it actually took out Halfling Refugee from the opponent front line, followed by another attack taking out Ahna-Chei Botanist thanks to it's Execute ability.
Later in the round, the Barashkukor eliminated out Moribund Arrowbait and this time it was eliminated for good but it gave more boosts to the stats of Thunderous Herald and Arcane Skinwalker adding to the misery of the opponent.
Before the first round was over, our Halfling Refugee wiped out both Night Reaper and Broken Earth Thug with a single melee attack and the dominance of our line up was evitable as we moved to the second round with clear signs of winning the battle.
- Round 2:
Round two was rather a formality as in the very second turn of the round, our Thunderous Herald dealt the killing blow bagging it's third kill of the battle and marching us to an emphatic victory.

STRATEGY:
Let's be honest here. Even though the battle was one-sided, the opponent did not have a weak line up in any means. Akane with it's ambush ability works very well for Explosive Weaponry ruleset and we would have a major disadvantage with this if we did not have Bella Ratajowlski as the Archon. Her Deflect ability is simply perfect for the ruleset we are focusing on this article as it completely negates the Explosive Weaponry ruleset for the opponent.
Not to mention that the synergy of Moribund Arrowbait, Commander Goff, Thunderous Herald and Arcane Skinwalker is absolutely deadly with the Bloodline Tribute and Rebirth ability of Moribund Arrowbait boosts the HP, speed and magic damage of Thunderous Herald and Arcane Skinwalker by +2 and the Resurrect ability of commander Goff makes it +3 which is absolutely ridiculous and the battle is a perfect example pf how deadly this team is.
