The Spat
It has been some time and I still remember the days before Sun arrived--Justin Sun that is. Blightbringer of Steem and Destroyer of Community... The darkest days some still say. How foolish we can be(this we is me) when something so true appears and I'd look to my shoe.
Steem Monsters. I remember the Rexxie on the front page, upvoted and quoted and I denoted. I was a writer! Of stories--mostly short one's at best. Some tales and none too great--unless they were--but who knows now? That chain is kaput and onward we are!
What a year for Splinterlands... the year of NFTs and Splintering's the boat! While some stuck poor photos and scribbles to the array of chains, there were others who pieced some pieces together to make something grand, for this decentralized land offers much in bounty and booty--though some waters stay untread and mountains afar...
What of my cards?! My land? These skins?
So scarce is scarcity and it's hard to see... until it's scarce and then it's there for ALL eyes to not see... For owning a card is like title and deed. It's easy to claim until it's all been claimed... and these battles! Such battles! They're for only those creeds.
For land and chickens, for totems and llamas, we're just to begin. When a card's a card it isn't the same as a Splinterland's game.
There will be drought and fervor and many battles to come.. but heed this!
Those with the burnable DEC will hold all to lease and none without will do without the leased piece that could be burned for DEC.
