Hearth Hall Updates — Patch Notes & Mid-Session Adjustments
As many of you know, Hearth Hall is one of the newest gameplay systems introduced in Chapter 3: Bountyfall, adding a competitive faction-style mode where players can choose from three Unions and fight for seasonal rewards. Below is a recap of the important updates made to Hearth Hall in the November 10, 2025 Patch Notes (v3.2), along with the mid-session adjustments from November 16, 2025.
📌 Patch Notes — November 10, 2025 (Version 3.2)
- Game System & Leaderboard Changes
The maximum prize pool for each Hearth Hall session has now been capped at 500,000 $PIXEL.
The leaderboard reward distribution has been updated from 70/30 to 60/30/10:
1st Place Team: 60% of the prize pool
2nd Place Team: 30% of the prize pool
3rd Place Team: 10% of the prize pool
This adjustment ensures that all three teams receive a share of the rewards, although Yieldstones will no longer be awarded to the 3rd-place team. Overall, this is a positive balancing step for participants.
- Offerings Adjustments
Power Offerings required to increase level have been raised from 5 → 15.
Defense Offerings required to increase level have been raised from 10 → 20.
This change makes progression more meaningful while reducing the speed at which factions can snowball.
- Drop Rate Adjustments
Drop rates for the following items have been modified:
Gloomshard
Ashnut
Sunbloom
Mirage Egg
These adjustments aim to balance supply, rarity, and offer better long-term progression.
📌 Mid-Session Update — November 16, 2025
A second update was released mid-session to introduce critical adjustments and prepare for the upcoming week.
⚠️ Announcement: Early Season Closure
Because the current Hearth Hall session ran much longer than intended, the team decided to end it manually.
Hearth Hall closed on: 🕙 22:00 UTC — November 16
🏆 Rewards & Season Reset
Winners were calculated immediately after closure.
Rewards for all players were distributed shortly after.
The next session is scheduled to reopen on Monday.
📢 Important Notes Going Forward
To prevent future issues:
Any season that lasts longer than 5 days will now be automatically ended early.
The team with the most health at that moment will be declared the winner.
This ensures no unintended losses, bugs, or imbalance occur during extended sessions.
