New Summoners / Neue Summoner

I finally did it. Well, I started with it. I got new summoners. And those that General Sloan and Thaddius Brood are my first summoners beyond level 1. I am not sure, if they are going to drop further in price, and it could still be possible, that we are not at the bottom, but I wanted to start building up my deck in a more serious way - and that includes summoners. To be honest, I did often forget to rent the needed summoners and since I am playing more often in high Silver or Gold, those leveled cards are needed more and more.
Summoners are, to be honest, one of the biggest and most important parts of leveling up. Since you cannot play leveled up cards without leveled up summoners. So General Sloan allows me to play my cards up to Silver Cap, which is the tier I was pushing for most of my cards. I got some cards that are above - mostly common reward cards - and most of my cards are still below Silver Cap.
So far, I was more focused on the blue Splinter. This started with me getting Djinn Oshannus and Venari Wavesmith back in October and continued with a lot of cards I bought mainly for the blue deck. Most of them are still level 1.
Ich hab mich endlich getraut oder zumindest damit begonnen: Ich habe mir die neuen Summoners gekauft. Und General Sloan und Thaddius Brood sind die ersten beiden, bei denen ich über Level 1 gekommen bin. Ich weiß natürlich nicht, ob die beiden auch in Zukunft noch weiter im Preis fallen werden und ich glaube eigentlich noch nicht, dass wir am Boden angekommen sind, aber ich wollte endlich mal damit beginnen und da ich immer mehr im oberen Silber Drittel oder Gold spiele habe ich auch gelevelte Summoner gebraucht. Und da ich häufig erst nach Kampfstart gemerkt habe, dass ich wieder nicht die richtigen Summoner gemietet habe, wurde es jetzt Zeit zu handeln.
Denn für das richtige Leveln benötigt man eben zuerst auch die Summoner, welche das Level der nutzbaren Karten limitieren. Sloan erlaubt mir jetzt endlich auf Silber Cap zu spielen und damit eigentlich weitgehend mit dem Level auf das ich versuche meine Karten hochzuziehen. Zwar habe ich einige schon höher, den Großteil aber noch weit darunter. Das lag auch daran, dass ich z.B. die Common Reward Cards relativ häufig einfach in Bulk gekauft habe.
Zuvor habe ich, aus Zufall, eher auf Blau/Wasser gesetzt. Das hat mit Djinn Oshannus und Venari Wavesmith begonnen und wurde sukzessive ausgebaut. Die meisten Karten dort waren aber lange - und sind es zum Teil immer noch - auf Level 1.

With the advent of Chaos Legion I started to look also more into other splinters. My main focus: Try to be cheap. Keyla wasn't the cheapest summoner. And with 25 BCX needed for Silver Cap and even 60 BCX for Gold Cap, the difference could be quite huge between Keyla or Obsidian on the one hand or Sloan and Thaddius on the other. Sloan is the cheapest Summoner to date. This makes sense since Ranged seems to be a weaker attack form. You cannot attack from first position as long as you don't have the Close Range ability and it is affected by shields and the Shield ability. Still if used correctly and in the right rule sets it can be deadly.
Ja, wirklich beeindruckend ist die Sammlung an Reward Cards noch nicht.
Mit dem Beginn der Chaos Legion habe ich mehr und mehr auch in anderen Splintern Karten gekauft. Mein größter Fokus hierbei war es möglichst günstig einzukaufen. Keyla ist nicht der günstigste Summoner und mit den 25 BCX, die man für das Silber Cap benötigt, bzw. sogar 60 für Gold, machen $1-2 pro BCX schon einiges aus. Also ob ich auf Keyla und Obsidian oder Thaddius und Sloan setze. Sloan war hierbei meist der günstigste Summoner und ist es auch jetzt gerade. Macht auch Sinn, da Fernkampf einige Schwächen im Allgemeinen hat. Insbesondere, dass man nicht von der ersten Position aus angreifen kann, solange man nicht Close Range als Fähigkeit oder Rule Set hat und zudem sind sie von Schilden und der Schild Fähigkeit betroffen, was den Effekt auch schwächt. Aber wenn man sie richtig einsetzt, sind auch Fernkämpfer sehr sinnvoll einsetzbar.

I have started to build my Life Deck, but it is still small and not really leveled up.
Ich habe zwar damit begonnen mein Life Deck aufzubauen, aber es ist weder umfangreich, noch hochgelevelt.

Same goes for Death. It is a bit bigger, but still far from good enough.
Ähnlich sieht es bei Death aus, dass zwar schon etwas umfangreicher ist, aber lange noch nicht gut genug.

I am still looking for some cheap Thaddius Broods in the coming weeks to get him to level 3-5, depending on how much money I can earn in real life and by blogging. Not sure if I am going for a third summoner than (probably Keyla) or improving my Life and Death teams. Keyla would cost me around $100 to get her to level 4 right now. This is quite an investment. And one that is probably to much just for a single summoner - at least right now. Especially since renting her is under 20 DEC for a level 4 copy. Even at $0,01 per DEC this would be more than 500 days of renting. The prices won't stay there forever. Neither the renting prices will, nor th buying prices. But it is still a big investment.
Ich bin immer noch auf der Suche nach einigen günstigen Thaddius Broods in den kommenden Tagen und Wochen, um ihn auf Level 3-5 zu bekommen, je nachdem wie viel Geld ich im Real Life and und fürs Bloggen verdiene. Weiß nicht, ob ich danach eher auf einen dritten Summoner (wohl Keyla) gehen würde oder versuche mein Life und Death Team zu verbessern. Keyla würde um die $100 kosten, um sie auf Level 4 zu bringen, was schon ein ordentliches Investment wäre. Und mir gerade zu viel. Inbesondere wenn die Mietpreise bei unter 20 DEC liegen und ich somit mehr als 500 Tage mieten müsste, um besser zu stehen - selbst wenn man von $0,01 pro DEC ausgeht. Klar die Preise werden nicht immer so bleiben und weder die Miet-, noch die Kaufpreise bleiben wohl lange auf diesem Niveau. Aber es bleibt weiterhin ein großes Investmentrisiko.

Gold 2 rewards are nice - still today wasn't too special. Still lacking so many CP myself.
Die Belohnungen für Gold 2 sind super - auch wenn es heute nichts besonderes war. Es fehlen immer noch so viele CP.

Yes! This is one of the main aspects of the game. You earn DEC, which is a crypto currency and can also earn cards, that are NFTs. With those assets you can earn SPS, through daily airdrops - SPS is another crypto-currency. This is only a very short version. There are many other aspects inside the game, through which you can earn cryptos and NFTs (daily/season quests, guilds, packs, and coming: land). It is quite complex to understand all aspects of it, but I find it easy to get started.
