Why LAND is the next GEMs in SPLINTERLANDS: be prepared before it's too late!

My eternal feeling about LAND is something like

SPLINTERLANDS contains land in its name but why STILL THERE IS NO LAND INTO THE GAMEPLAY in THESE COUPLE OF YEARS???

What can be the answer?

The biggest surprise always comes at moment when people start to loose their enthuasism into something!

That is my personal thought but I believe that LAND in splinterlands will make us surprised that beyond our thouhts.
In this post I will try to figure out some of my prediction and thoughts on the current valuation of LAND PLOTS with it's future integration with the GAME PLAY from very aspects.

What is the LAND in splinterlands?

I am not going to define it myself about LAND EXPANSION here but like other games, LAND will be the biggest integration with the current gamplay. You can read the full land expansion post from LAND EXPANSION,
I am going to quote from their post to give the basic idea of the LAND.

The Splinterlands team is excited to release additional details about the next planned expansion for the Splinterlands game. This is by far the biggest update we have undertaken since building the game initially, and we expect it will take the entire Splinterlands ecosystem to a whole new level of both value and fun.

Not only are we planning to add new types of cards and a major update to the existing battle system, but we are also planning to add an entire additional game within the game to allow players to take control of the minting of the new cards. We think that this expansion will be groundbreaking - not just for Splinterlands - but for the entire blockchain-based gaming industry!

SO, I can summarise the things coming to the existing gameplay as follows:

  • You can mint new types of cards including different types of ITEMS and SPELLS.
  • There will be an extra round for doing battle with these ITEMS and *SPELLS which is termed as GAME INSIDE THE GAME.
  • The players will be able to get some new abilities from the spells and items.
  • Diffrent types of reources can be collected from the different land types
  • Existing monsters can be utilized for harvesting those resources
  • The whole gaming strategy will be more versatile with more fun and more rewards.

How many LANDs we have in Splinterlands?

There will be total 150000 LAND PLOTS ever in the splinterlands and all them are sold out from the game and these can buy from hive-engine or tribaldex
LAND PLOT is the smallest unit that can buy and sold.

What is the current price of LAND PLOT and why it is so cheap?

Currently the PLOT price is crashed a lot and the price now around $190 which was around 1000 before the Chaos Legion released.

The price is lower due to these following reasons

  • Many people have bought CL packs by selling their PLOTS during CL realeses and due to the dumped market all are holding their assets.
  • Many people have already made a huge profit on lands as they bought it with only $20 and sell it with around $800.
  • Some people are now trying to dump the market with tons of free SPS airdrops.
  • Still, there are some logical reasons like LAND will have same types as COMMON, RARE, EPIC and LEGENDARY which will revealed during the final LAND EXPANSION. So, many players are fearing of getting a common one with the same value, it can be something like gambling.
  • Another solid concerns about the rewarding mechanism is still under development, so people have critical thinking about the benefits of LAND OWNERs.

Why I am super bullish on LAND PLOTS ?

  1. The fist and most important factor is that The LAND PLOTS are the only a kind of assets which is going to be the fixed number in whole life time of the game. For cards, there will be more tons of cards in near future but there will be no more LANDS in splinterlands!
  2. For second logic I will show you the number of most expensive assets in the splinterlands including the cards and totems.

  1. And for cards there are more than 35000 cards with the price more than $100, and some cards are more than 1000 cards with the price more than $1000m and 5000 cards with price around $500.
  2. I have excluded the ALPHA packs, BETA packs and the all the assets below $100 and more than 50 bucks which will be around 60000 copies!
  3. And most importantly these are now at this dumped market, so what will be the impact when the values will start increasing.
