what's up Splinter Player around the Praetoria how are you doing?
In this content i want to share about How i can grow up as Splinterlands Player. The only way to grow higher is yes DEFEAT!!!!!. Why i can say so? thats because I can know better which card that i really need to use and buy. And since this game is investing game. It is really necessary to know which card that really useful card in battle that can make me have Higher win rate. And with higher win rate of course i will got more rewards and can invest more and speed up to completed my deck collection. And with complete deck i can win more and it will make a never ending cycle with just adding more rewards and of course money that i am talking about here about rewards.
And so far this is what i get since Conclave Arcana comes out for Summoner. And yes this is the assets for the future when Rebellion sets goes to Wild. Thats why learning from the loss is really necessary. With that i can buy more cards and upgrade more and speed up my process by getting more win.
And i have more beside this summoner. I already maxed some of common and some of rares. And it still on process. Hopefully by the end of this year i can maxed at least 3 element from common until legendary. Thats my goal for this year on Splinterlands.
And talking about learning, this is example that what i got and learn when battling using my own account. Maybe some of player already familiar with the current meta and mostly skipped the battle. But me,Mostly i still looking the battle and sometimes i repeat the battle to know better the meta strategy. Despite suspecting that it's a bot sometimes i copy the opponent strategy mechanism.
Like this for example
The first battle is when i am battling Alborzrad. In this abttle when the ruleset modifier is cannot using Melee at all the opponent using Ulund combo. It is not wrong using that especially when knowing that i dont have any units that having Final Rest. But, trully if does not have Final Rest unit, Ulund army is the strongest strategy i guess. Since it can gives bonus stats to every Ulund that player can bring into battlefield. And when you can see the battle ( You guys can just click on the image it will lead to the battle) The Mystic Mudbinder, Thunderous Herald and also Calabash Sage goes super strong even though it just common units. Thats why i kinda fell in love too with this Ulund Bloodline Strategy. And my progress right now is still building Life and Earth Element. Which is mostly Ulund bloodline located right.
Then the second battle when i againts Vorkus. I dont know what the relation with Lorkus account. Maybe it his second account or even it is not related at all. But, i learn so much with his Dragon arrangement strategy.
FYI, right now Nidhoggr already got buffed. Team changed the ability of this summoner from reduce 1 line up to be -1 armor. With this, this dragon summoner is really annoying and super strong. Especially when talked about speed battling which this summoner can adding 3 units additional 2 speed and execute ability. It will be really strong when dealing with slow line up. Like in this battle (you can click on the image to see). But, this time Vorkus choose 3 units with Blast ability and Deathblow ability. Same with the others this Blast ability will destroying my line up fast without a doubt. But, i really doubting to buy this summoner since it will be goes in Wild within 1 year or maybe below 1 year. Afraid that i will using it for a while and then goes to wild. OR maybe it can be on my rental list.
So, defeat is kinda like Blessing in Disguise for me right now. Either i can copy their meta and strategies or even better i can learn how to beat the meta strategies and i can buy the card that can beat it. But, mostly i can learn and pick which card that i need to buy first. Like the Ulund Strategies. Right now i am on my way to upgrading my Life Rare element including Bella Ratajowlski as Ulund Summoner. This is great move since right now i am kinda short with low mana ( 4 mana below). So, it can makes me having higher chance to win on little league ruleset modifier.
Like the wiseman said, we can either run from it or we can learn from it after losing the battle. Nah it is not from wiseman, it is Rafiki quote from Lion King movie. So, Never give up when you lose because there will be a time to win when you have all the cards.
