Heyyy yooooo
what's up Splinter Player around the world how are you doing? I want to share my battle using one of my scholar account that played in Gold League Format. And this time, I want to share that sometimes ignoring ruleset is also the strategy in Splinterlands Universe.By the way i will chance my format in writing again, so it will different than the last time.
As usual before going to battle lets see the ruleset for this week challenge

Okay since you guys know that the ruleset is Ferocity lets knowing this ruleset a little bit deeper. This ruleset description is
All units gain the Knock Out ability.
Be sure to include a unit with Stun in your lineup to trigger the knock out.
Okay Knock out ability is we can deal double damage to monster that get stun effect. And bringing monster that having stun sometimes is really hard to combined with other ruleset. Thats why often this ruleset will be ignored. Even though we dont bring any monster that having stun ability, we can still win in this ruleset.

Strategy Phase
Okay since the ruleset is Heavy Hitter many monster in every element can be the best in the strategy. Lets see in every element then
Fire element

Water Element

Earth Element

Death Element

In Death Element there is Revealer that having stun ability. This is the reward card that really usefull for magic army.
Life Element

Dragon Element

In Dragon element there is reward card that pretty usefull that having 4 manacost only and having stun ability.
Neutral Element

In Neutral there is monster from Beta edition that called Cyclops with range attack that having Shield ability and stun ability.

Battlephase

In this battle i am encountered with player in Guild that very famous for their power and super strong. And this time i am encountered with Lux Vega.

And in this battle as you can see the picture above, having 3 ruleset. The first ruleset is Blood & Sunder that means All units gains corrosive ward ability. The second ruleset is Fire & Regrets that means all units will have Return Fire ability. The last but not least is Heavy Hitters that means all units will have knockout ability. The manacap that can be used in this battle is 40 which is pretty average. And the element that cannot be used is Fire and Life element.
And this is my team
My Strategy Line Up

- Immortalis as Summoner
- Pelacor Mercenary as frontline tanker
- Regal peryton as Second Tanker and attacker
- Venari Scout as attacker
- Venari Seedsmith as attacker
- Queen Mycelia as Support
- Mycelic Slipspawn as taunt tanker
Opponent Strategy Line Up

- Immortalis as Summoner
- Hill Giant as Frontline Tanker
- Regal Peryton as Attacker
- Madcap Magus as Attacker
- Uloth Dhampir as Healer and Attacker
- Mycelic Slipspawn as Taunt Tanker
- Dr Blight as Attacker
From looking in picture above you can guess that my line up winning this battle. What makes my team winning is the combination from all the rats. Both Venari Seedsmith and Venari Scout is the important monster units in my line up that can carrying my team winning the battle. Of course dont forget Queen Mycelia also help as support in my team that healing my Venari Seedsmith after dealing damage to opponent and get the backfire due the return fire ability from Fire & Regrets ruleset. And Venari Scout will hunting down the lowest health in opponent line up after Mycelic Slipspawn defeated. And in my team there is none monster that having attack 5 or above so the Forcefield ability from Mycelic Slipspawn will be useless. Even Though opponent bringing Dr Blight, still remember that both of us using Immortalis as summoner. So, it will make the magic damage will be reduced due the void ability that Immortalis gives. Thats why opponent Dr Blight hardly defeated my entire team. The Poison effect will be very hard to defeated my frontline especially my frontline tanker and second tanker have high health. My Venari Seedsmith is the damage dealer in my line up that can cleaning opponent line up. Since opponent line up just using low health monster with so many abilities that can make my line up got so many debuff. And in opponent line up have disadvantage due bringing Uloth Dhampir that have 5 range attack, it will gives 1 damage to my Mycelic Slipspawn. So, overall opponent have lack of damage to my tanker. Thats all and my team have big total damage with just have 3 and 4 damage. And even the opponent bringing Uloth Dhampir that have stun ability. Still it will be useless if cannot gives high damage. Especially when the Uloth Dhampir did not gives stun effect. Thats why as i said before. Sometimes, ignoring the ruleset is the best strategy. But, it just sometimes.

Conclution
As i mentioned before Sometimes, ignoring the ruleset is also the strategy why?? Because sometimes if we just focused on the ruleset, maybe the opponent will guessing that we are playing to utilize the benefit from the ruleset. And it will be very easy to guess and counter. Like in this battle. For the first, i am thinking that i will using Igor Darkspear to utilize the stun effect. But, after thinking again, i think just ignoring the Heavy Hitters ruleset is the best think that i can do. And i am ignoring the Fire and Regrets ruleset too right. I am still depend on Venari Seedsmith as attacker right?
So,what do you think guys about this strategy?
