Pixelart: Valnamor

in Splinterlandslast year

VALNAMOR

My pixelart version of Valnamor in the Splinterlands game. It has a trident as its weapon. Aside from its weapon it also has ability of speed. He is fast under and above the ocean. This can be a great advantage against its enemies.
If Valnamor was born and live under the Sea, I'm pretty sure he also has an ability that can communicate to the animals at the Sea. That would be great because he can make them as allies when he is attacking its enemies.

PROOF OF WORK

I started on creating the outline of its head followed by its body.

Outline of the legs of Valnamor.

Outline of the arms.

Creating the handle of the trident.

Adding the blades or pointy arrows of the trident. After creating the middle part and right arrow. I duplicated the right arrow then flipped it vertically for the other side.

Outline of the trident is done.

Adding details on its body.

Adding some clothing or some straps for the lower part of its body.

Adding armors on its arms.

Adjusted the opacity to see the armors clearly when I added the line details.

Adding the outline of its hair. I like the hair of Valnamor in here. It looks like the typical hair of some anime characters.

Making some adjustments on its arms and body.

Coloring the clothing on the body and arms of Valnamor.

Coloring the skin of Valnamor.

Coloring the armors and straps of Valnamor.

Colored the hair and then its clothes on its chest.

Shadings and shadows on the body.

Shadows on the skin.

Shadows on the armors.

Adding the eyes of Valnamor.

Valnamor is almost ready. I just have to finish its Trident and he is ready to go.

Colored the Trident and then changed the color of the background in preparation for creating the details at the background.

Since Valnamor is under the Sea. The details that I put at the background were plants or corals that we can see under the Sea.

Added a glowing effect at the background by using the gradient tool.

Creating the animation part. I want to show here the flowing of waters throughout its whole body.

I made the complete form of it and then erased some parts of it per frame to create the animation.

THANK YOU
