Splinterlands - Unicorn Mustangs on the battlefield

Hello everyone, have a nice day and good battles. This time I will share a wild battle from a bronze tournament I participated in, where all the cards are available, so I was able to use my cards from the untamed edition, which I consider awesome, since it was the first edition I started playing with.

This time, there is only one modifier, since being a bronze battle, the chances of two or more modifiers appearing are lower. The active modifier is the Holy Protection, which grants all units the Divine Shield ability, therefore, the first damage they receive will be ignored, except for poison and debilitation effects.

This time, both my opponent and I used a similar lineup. We both use the earth summoner, Mylor Crowling, who grants allied units the thorns ability, so melee units will receive 2 physical damage when they successfully attack.

In the first position is Unicorn Mustang, which has the Void ability, allowing it to take 50% less damage from magic attacks.

In the second position is Blackmoor Trickster, who can attack from the second position thanks to his Close Range ability.

In the third position is Elanor Bravefoot, which is a good card, since it only costs 0 mana but has 1 ranged attack power. But, it has the Weary ability, so it has a 10% chance (increases by 10% each turn, up to a max of 80%) of becoming exhausted at the start of the second turn, onwards.

In the fourth position is Wood Nymph, who will restore one third of the max health of her frontline allied unit each turn.

In the fifth position is Blackmoor Jinx, who will attack the first non-melee enemy unit behind the first positon.

And in the sixth and last position is Grenadier, who will deal double damage to units without attack thanks to his Oppress ability.

Battle

In the first round no units were defeated, but in the second round, the enemy Furious Chicken is defeated by my Blackmoor Jinx.

In the third round, unfortunately, the enemy Unicorn Mustang defeats my Unicorn. Then, Elanor Bravefoot avenges her ally by defeating the enemy Unicorn.

In the fourth round, Elanor Bravefoot defeats Mushroom. After that, Grenadier defeats the enemy Wood Nymph.

In the fifth round, Wood Nymph defeats the enemy Halfling Alchemist. And finally, Grenadier ends the battle by defeating the fiend Fungus Spawn.

Full Battle

This battle shows how even minimal changes in the lineup influence the outcome. Although, my opponent and I used Mylor, Unicorn Mustang and Wood Nymph, the other units were completely different. The opponent opted to play Mushroom Seer and Halfling Alchemy, units that reduce damage, but they didn't inflict as much damage as my other units.

My other units, which were ranged units with only 1 ranged attack power, except for Grenadier, who had 2, caused more damage and managed to win the battle. My only unit that was defeated this time was the Unicorn.
