I love this Rush Townsend by @aymonabir24 - It's a card I do get excited to play, particularly with Jacek and I love this art style.

I struggled way more this season than last season but I knew at the time last season was a bit of a fluke. I only just scraped into Champs III whereas last season I got all those amazing loot chests from just softly grazing Champs II.
This season I got:
Modern Diamond III (1 Ultimate, 7 Major, 10 Minor)
Modern Diamond II (2 Ultimate, 8 Major, 11 Minor)
Wild Diamond I (3 Ultimate, 9 Major, 12 Minor)
Wild Champs III (4 Ultimate, 10 Major, 13 Minor)
Overall : 10 Ultimate Loot Chests, 34 Major Loot Chests & 46 Minor Loot Chests.
Still really exciting to hit those loot chests, especially grabbing some extra energy to try and hit my real goal of 537K Glint to get full batch 1s of both legendary and epic.
Yesterday I noticed that Pallus had been retconned with a new ability:
which I had noticed was similar to one of the new Legends:
I initially thought that the new set Conclave Arcana might have new abilities called Kindred Spirit and Kindred Will but upon further reading of the doco it looks like these are specifically designed to be paired with each other.
I love this idea. I rarely use Pallus, it's great for the Melee Mayhem, Equal Opportunity and Super Sneak rulesets - but mostly I forget it exists... so I just rarely use it even though I have a maxed copy. I'm glad it could get a new lease in life even though I haven't been able to afford any of the legends yet.
I am very excited (and very scared to see it used against me) about the Heloise the Hollow card - I don't truly understand how powerful it's going to be until I see it in action because it's hard to imagine how big effect the weary-ing and health-halving will be on the rest of the team. I'm keen to get one but I'm not sure I'll ever be able to.
If players were smart, they'd organize/collude and decide how many people want it, decide what a fair price the top 100 of those people would be willing to pay and then assign an auction to each person... but, ahhaha, human nature is definitely not going to let that happen.
I'm so curious to see how this will go. I imagine there will be whales that attempt every single auction (even if they already have a copy) - it's going to become a mini-game in itself and I am excited to see how much DEC can be burnt from this concept.
I think the DAO will win big out of this... and I do like the concept of the DAO paying the team to create these auctions for the DAOs benefit.
I have seen the complaints about these types of things only being for whales - but unfortunately that's how the gaming economy works... 2-5% of the player base funds the game for everyone else. I have Clash Royale on my phone (and have played all the Supercell games at various times) and I've never paid a single cent to Supercell in over a decade of play. They're great games and I enjoy them, but I also accept to some level I'm just fodder for the whales who fund it for me.
So, I get it, it's annoying, Splinterlands definitely has an element of Pay to Win - but I will tell you that it is so incredibly satisfying to win a game using a deck that costs a fraction of the deck you beat.

I got into Wild Champs III and then go very bounced out of it immediately... so I had to crawl my way back in the dying hours of the season... but it's fine, I got there.
Given the loot chests, I do wonder how many people do try and set themselves backwards to try and fly through lower league loot chest... but personally I'm not willing to take that gamble, because clawing back to higher leagues can be so difficult and time consuming.
I'm happy with my Modern Win/Loss Ratio, very efficient. I'm really just playing Modern when I get a 3 or more losing streak in Wild and I think that strategy is working for me. I'm still mainly focused on getting Glint than really anything else at this point.

So, I didn't quite hit my goal, but I got really close...
I wanted 537,500 Glint and got:
531,884 Glint... but to make up the difference, I still have 34 Chaos Legion reward cards I can burn for Glint.

10 Legendary Draws for 350,000 Glint with 10 Alchemy potions:
Nice! No gold foils, but I'm now going to be able to level up Grifzi, Endless Gibbon, Warborn Chieftain and Chaos Battle Mage so that's awesome!
25 Epic Draws for 187,500 Glint with 25 Alchemy potions:
Cool, a gold Night Reaper. I used this card for the first time the other day on an Earthquake ruleset game and it was very satisfying to see those double strength magic hits going out.
I'll be able to level up Olivia and the Halfling Refugee, which are the two cards I use most out of the Epic reward cards. Very happy with that!

I have to admit, I thought the Estimated Value and Set Value of Rebellion would come crashing down after the last Conflict (Nidhoggr - which I haven't really been able to get working for me so well) but that hasn't really been the case at all. Everything has been very steady.
Personally I moved all the gold foil Rebellion cards that I had kept in the Mage Battle wagons to the Rental market and it's been going pretty well for me so far. My usual net gain had been around 600-800 DEC a season, so this is obviously a massive improvement. I assume it'll decrease over time, but maybe not....?
I'm going to save up my DEC to see if I can make a play for one of the later Heloise the Hallow cards. I'm not at all confident, but I guess we'll see.
I absolutely forgot to claim any SPS this season, so the SPS section of the report disappeared on me. I'm annoyed at myself because it's going to be double next season... which isn't really representative. Here is my table for prosperity:

With the increase in the price of SPS over the last few days, I think I'm making about $120 USD worth in SPS a season - which again is pretty amazing just to play a game.
