MY WINNABLE 24 MANA SET-UP IN FRONTIER

Hello Fellow Splintermates and Hiveans,

It is time to share this weeks Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! where i am going to share my most winnable 24 mana set-up in frontier format. This set-up has been my most usable team in frontier specially from bronze to silver league, not sure though if it is effective at gold leagua as i expect water magic will dominate or life with armor might will prevail but that depends on what ability will be unlocked when gold league will be unlocked.

THE BATTLE

This battle is a 24 mana battle with lost legendaries and fire and regret ruleset. In here my opponent used life team with incessant sage as his archon as i choose death team with thalgrimore as my archon . This is to take advantage on the synergies of removing health to enemy units that makes them vulnerable with only 1 hit. My opponent almost predicted my positioning but due to less health they were killed with one hit that makes my team 1 move ahead.

MY WINNABLE 24 MANA SET-UP TEAM

1. THALGRIMORE - thalgrimore is a 6 mana rare death foundation card archon. This death archon provide -1 health to all enemy units. So far this is my favorite archon to use except thos where some elements dominates in some ruleset like weak magic and poison ruleset. Thalgrimore is good in reverse speed and equalizer . Thalgrimore also was been my most used archon due to its synergy with sorrow harvester when combine together it removes 2 health to all enemy unit.

2. SPELLMONGER - - spellmonger is a 4 mana rare neutral foundation card. At level 1 it has 1 armor, 1 health and 1 speed . It also has untrainable ability (cannot be weapons trained ) and thorns ability (retunrs 2 physical damage to attacker when hit by a melee attack). Due to its thorns ability it synergies with thalgrimore and sorrow harvester that when hit by monster with opportunity, it will be killed with thorns specially if it has no armor. ( same works against sneak monster just put him in the last position )

3. NIM GUARD CAPTAIN - - Nim guard captain is a 7 mana common death foundation card. At level 1 it has 1 melee attack, 3 armor, 5 health and 3 speed . It also has a void ability (50% less damage rounded up ) from magic attacks or 0 attacks from magic attacks of 1 power). This is my favorite tanks as magic still dominates and countering them is quite effective. This is very good in rulsets where non melee are allowed like magic but not good where ranged monster dominates although having 3 armor makes him still the best option for tank.

4. SORROW HARVESTER - sorrow harvester is an 7 mana epic death foundation card. At level 1 it has 2 magic attack with 3 health and 1 speed. It also has weaken ability (-1 max health to enemy unit). This is my most used magic monster as still quite difficult to counter even with void as still cause damage and paired with thalgrimore it remove 2 health to all enemy units that gives it to quickly illuminate opponent.

MY STRATEGY AND POSITIONING

ARCHONUNIT 1UNIT 2UNIT 3
ThalgrimoreSpellmongerNim Guard CaptainSorrow Harvester

In this 24 mana battle lost legendaries and fire and regret ruleset. My strategy is to used thalgrimore as my archon to synergies with sorrow harvester causing minus 2 health to all enemy units which i position at the end expecting my opponent is not going to use sneak attack strategy ( which i was wrong and almost lost the battle with one move ) I then position spellmonger at front predicting my opponent will used frontal attack or opportunity to cause them damage first. (usually i often used spellmonger at 2nd position. Then my tank nim guard captain next to spellmonger that is to takeadvantage of its void ability incase my opponent used magic)

....HAVE A NICE DAY .....
