I voted in favor of the current proposal too. My view is same as yours. As I wrote in the comment on the proposal page that I am with the concept in spirit, we do need to work out the details.

I am glad to see that we share the same views. It would be interesting to have @dave confirm that it is compatible with the mid/long term vision of the team. It is possible he already stated on the matter but I did not have visibility
