Welcome all again,
This week another major update has been launched in Splinterlands and I have to say, it’s really exciting to see a new reward set going live. Every new set brings that same thrill of chasing new cards, watching the chests open, and hoping for those sweet jackpots.
Thanks to @warrentrx, I was able to finally complete my full Rebellion reward set. I was missing just one BXC, and he helped me out by letting me buy it from him at unlock cost. Really appreciate that. It feels great to have the entire set finished.

Now the new set is here, and the next challenge begins. I always prefer to earn my cards through grinding rather than buying, but with the increased glint prices, I’m not sure how close I’ll get this time. Either way, the excitement is back, and that’s what matters.
First Rebellion Reward Chest Opening
The first thing I did when the new reward set went live was simple, I spent all my glint and even more (burned some GFL). No time wasted. I jumped straight in, eager to see what I could pull.

I opened a batch of chests right away because the first draw is always fast and full of surprises. At this stage, I’m happy with any card that drops. The extra fortune entries that appear in the chests are also super welcome since they increase my chances of hitting something big.
Of course, we all dream about landing that black foil, the chances are tiny. Still, just being part of it and having the chance makes it worth it.
My First Results: Golds, Scrolls, and a Bit of Disappointment
So from all the batches I opened, I only got 2 gold cards. That’s really not much, and honestly, I was hoping for more. But it’s the start of the new set, and luck can always swing later.

On the bright side, I did manage to pull some Unbinding Scrolls. These are pretty cool to have, even if I probably won’t use them for a while. My main goal right now is to collect all the cards for my playing deck and get it complete before doing any unbinding.

Still, I can’t say I’m too happy about how the first round went. No legendary cards and only six epics. But it is what it is, the grind continues, and this is only the beginning.
What’s Next: Chests or Rarity Draws?
Now comes the big question for the next season, should I go for the chest draws again or switch focus to rarity draws?
It’s a tough call. If I want to complete the full set, the smarter path is probably to go for the rarity draws and skip the other options. But then again, I really enjoy the thrill of opening chests. There’s something special about the surprise factor, you never know if that next chest could hold a jackpot prize or a legendary card.
The legendary rarity draws this time are massive, 70,000 glint each. That’s a lot to save up, but the reward potential makes it tempting.

Tracking Jackpot Gold Cards
To keep an eye on how things are progressing, I’ve updated the jackpot prize tool with the new gold card tracking feature. You can check it here:
This helps us see how many gold cards are still left since they are pre-minted. It’s a fun way to know what’s still out there waiting to be pulled.

Fortune Draw Tracker
I also added the new Fortune Draw information to the same tool. You can check it here:

I haven’t fully tested if it’s working yet, but after the first draw, I’ll be able to confirm everything is functioning correctly.

Wrapping Up: A New Chapter Begins
So that’s the start of this new chapter in Splinterlands. A fresh set, new challenges, and plenty of glint to earn and spend. I’ll be looking for more ways to grind glint this season because I really want to complete this new set as well.
The previous one took me until the very last season to finish, but that made it even more satisfying when I finally got there. Hopefully, I can repeat that feeling again with this set.
To all my fellow Splinterlands fans out there, happy battling and may your next chest hold something legendary!
See you all on the battlefield
