The Order of the Scale has announced a new set of reward cards to accompany the Rebellion set, available beginning Thursday, August 15. Obtainable in the Reward Shop, these cards will replace the Chaos Legion soulbound reward cards, which will be discontinued and can be unbound. The new Rebellion cards will include 12 commons, 12 rares, 7 epics, and 12 legendarys, with four new abilities: Mimic, Corrupted Healing, Execute, and Wingbreak. Additionally, three new weaknesses are introduced that inflict negative effects rather than benefits.
Chaos Legion soulbound cards will be unbound at the cost of 10x their power in Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) for the first 29 days, with the cost increasing every 30 days. Once unbound, these cards can be purchased, sold, rented, traded, and delegated. This pricing model seeks to maintain the value of players’ collections and prevent flooding the market with cheap cards. Rebellion’s new reward cards offer exciting strategic opportunities and a rich expansion of Splinterlands lore.
