Mastering Super Sneak in Diamond Tournaments

One of my best Twitter accounts is Splinterlands. It keeps me informed about all the important news in the ecosystem and #Hive posting events like a weekly challenge. In my opinion, those challenges are an incredible way of increasing the pride of being part of this community, as every player shares his/her game experience with others, allowing others to learn about everyone's successes and mistakes. For this one, I will share how much profit I can take from tournaments thanks to my earned SPS. Also, I will share a piece of tactical advice from Super sneak battle condition. Hope you enjoy it!

Go high or go home

We come from one of the toughest weeks in Splinterlands when 45% of the team was cut off (all my thoughts to ones who are suffering from the uncertainty of losing the job) and the security shield that all of us had thought that #Splinterlands would not be affected by the bear market was destroyed. The community needed a power shot and the last Town Hall was reaching its end and @yabapmatt explained where Splinterlands should go comparing it with a personal memory. 12 years ago he was able to mine 3 BTC and he stopped because it was worth $10 each and those earnings were not covering the costs of electricity, time, computers... He recommended every one of us to stop measuring what we are earning now and try to project those earnings in the mid/long term. And above all, they are building a system that works. They want to build an awesome #play2earn ecosystem where every one of us enjoys every single day spent. And every day spent would be a stone in your asset-building. Thanks to @goldmatters found that special moment that raised me!

Yes we are in a horrible crypto winter but if you answer yes to this question:

Do you enjoy playing Splinterlands?
Does the game reward your Time and Attention?

⁩If you believe in these 3 points, try to learn about the game. Try to improve as a player. Measure your win rate and your focus faster. Join a guild. Splinterlands is social, join great Discords with great people eager to share their experiences. You've got great content creators... you've got Hive. Why Tournaments?

I can not understand how high is the dip in SPS as one day, players will have to stack it to earn rewards in the game. Nowadays #Splinterlands brings all of us 3 direct ways of earning its Governance token (SPS):

Ranked matches (Daily Focus, Earnings per Batlle & Season Focus)
Guilds: the part of the game where you can develop social abilities and compete with guildmates vs other guilds.
Tournaments: many of the hosted by @sps.tournaments is a great opportunity to develop our most individual and competitive skill.

If you are not participating and trying to improve in the 3 points you are losing money. I will explain in the picture that follows:

First of all, and in my opinion the most important point. I love this game! I enjoy playing splinterlands. Too easy to understand, and too complex to master. Fast battles, giving some clues about what your opponent will do... Tournaments are battles celebrated in groups of players. Most @sps.tournaments are celebrated in two days with a cut in half of the ranking. What's more different from ranked is that every player does the same number of battles and you can check how has everyone solved their situations.
Tournament make the learning process much more intense. You face 12 battles and you need a positive win rate to pass to the second phase. Generally, people rent better cards and you face the best teams.
If you manage to do it on average you can get extra income in SPS which will be important in the future!

As you can see in the next picture, I managed to finished 53rd with a positive win rate with my 2kDEC daily renting for Diamond. Those 40 SPS won allowed me to increase this day's earnings to 90 SPS. Not bad and what's more important! The same cards are used in multiple ways to maximize earnings! I would also like to congratulate @cavantes, @kuyamad and @luthien12 for being top 3. They earned those reward in the arena!

And thanks to @queen-silvia that has encouraged me in her twitter account to take profit of this part of the game. She is such an inspiration to me!

Tactical tip

As you may know, this is my favorite part of content creation. I love sharing my best practices with the community as I feel they can be useful to someone else. For this one, I bring you a 36 Mana Super Sneak battle.
Generally, opportunity melee creatures work better than ranged as they can take first-position damage over the seconds. But there's a battle condition that changes Opportunity to Sneak. This game is about details, and the description of Super Sneak condition is crystal clear:

All Melee attack Monsters have the Sneak ability -> This means Opportunity is replaced for sneak.

And my keys to victory:

Lux: I do love this girl. Lux is increasing drastically at my win rate. In ranked I can fight for matches I had no chance only with reward cards (so low in rentals) as she can play every summoner except the house of Targaryen. In tournaments, she changes the whole dynamic of a summoner. This is the typical formation that Thaddius loses vs Kelya, but everything changes with both teams buffed.
Weirding Warrior is a 2 mana Rust + Amplify + 2 ranged damage. Repeat these words in one year and say that you saw weirding warriors for less than a dollar:

As I have written before, Lira was smarter than Deeplurker, as once the taunt was beaten, she focused on weak targets while Deeplurker continued focusing on my cursed windeku.
Cursed Windeku in this kind of battle outperforms other opponents (remember to bring Weirding every time you can). His healing and his amplified damage destroyed enemy melees.
