Hello Splinterlands players, how are you? I hope it's nice to know you here. It's been a while since the season started. I'm trying my best to get as high a ranking as possible and collect the best rewards, but this time the battles are getting much tougher because I've decided to play Modern, and my bin rate has dropped significantly, and it's getting much more difficult because there are a lot of dangerous players here, and I'm hoping to get a good ranking. If my season continues like this, it'll probably get much more difficult for me. Actually, I am not playing that much but still I made a plan during the weekends that I will do as many battles as possible so that I will get more chances to win. Though it is getting a little more difficult here but still I have won in some metals and I am sharing one of the best battles with you. I hope you will like it.

As you can see, the mana cap is 60, and I could use all sorts of elements. With a 60 mana cap, you can use some of the best cards, and you have a lot of options. I decided to choose cards based on the ruleset, and the battles weren't particularly impressive. You'll see more in the future.

Ruleset :
- Weak Magic -:
- Magic damage hits armor before reducing health.
- Add another layer of Protection to extend the life of your units.
- Shatter or Pierce any armor your opponent dares place.
You can read the ruleset above, which was for Weak Magic, in which typically a magic attack attacks health directly without using a shield. However, according to this rule set, if your cards have any type of shield, the magic attack will first damage your shield before attacking your health. Therefore, using a card with a high shield value will prove to be quite beneficial.

| Summoner | ||
|---|---|---|
| S.No | My | Opponent |
| 1. | Zeddica (lvl 1) | Marlai Singariel (lvl 1) |
| Monster | ||
|---|---|---|
| S.No | My | Opponent |
| 1. | Coralforged (lvl 1) | Port Guardian (lvl 1) |
| 2. | Commander Slade (lvl 1) | Pallus (lvl 1) |
| 3. | Arachne Weaver (lvl 1) | Great Bear Druid (lvl 1) |
| 4. | Shock Trooper (lvl 1) | Shock Trooper (lvl 1) |
| 5. | Mindless Thrall (lvl 1) | Mindless Thrall (lvl 1) |
| 6. | Helheim Demon (lvl 1) | New Beluroc Aegis (lvl 1) |
You can see above which cards my opponent and I used. As you can see, most of the cards you cut were leveled. It's rare to see your opinion cards being of a very low level, or you might also encounter opponents with higher levels, making it a bit difficult to complete.

Generally, whenever a game starts, everyone selects their cards according to the rules and the card that I have placed on the first position is becoming very popular these days because it is also seen in many bottles because of its special ability. If you use a ghat in the second position which does not have the Rich ability, then it also gets the Rich ability. In such a situation, it can prove to be very beneficial for you and in such a situation, if you have a good melee card which is like a tank, then you can get a lot of benefit by using it on the second position.

The last card that I and my opponent had, they had the phone ability due to which all the cards except the first one were attacking the last card first and in such a situation if your card's health is more then this battle goes even better. Actually I had some such cards which were also attacking my last card, they were solving it in a way due to which my last card was lasting much longer than the opponent's last card. See whenever there is a battle, all the cards contribute a lot in it, because of this the battle is as difficult as it is, you cannot win the battle on the basis of one counter.

Some Magic cards were similar to mine and my opponent's, and my opponent used mostly Magic cards. I also used about 4 Magic cards. These showed a difference to my opponent, but they were all used in a way that made the battle quite enjoyable. Whenever you battle, make sure that all your cards are being used for some necessary purpose. If this card is not being used, then it should have an ability that benefits your arrival in any way. If this is not the case, then you should not use Start.

Look, the battle wasn't very interesting until the end, and I was left with only about three cards. I thought I would survive with four, but in the end, because of the three cards, and his health was almost gone, I benefited from the magic cards because, according to this rule set, if your shield is gone, then the magic cards prove to be very beneficial. And the same thing happened now, once the shield was gone, the magical cards started showing their magic, due to which the battle became even more interesting and was quite fun.

Weak Magic ruleset really changes the game.
I like the strategy around high-armor cards becoming temporary magic shields.
Using Coral Wraith to grant Reach is a slick move.
Thank you for this experience
