Hello Splinterlands players how are you. I hope your season is going well there are still about 10 days and 22 hours left for the season to end and this season is turning out to be a lot of fun for me. Because a lot of changes have happened in Modern. Now there are different brackets and within them there are different divisions and the game has become quite interesting. How are you finding the new changes here? I am finding them quite okay and so far I am having a lot of fun. I haven't played a game in a while, but today I've done a lot of battles and am slowly moving myself towards the upper divisions. These changes seem fine to me for now, and if you're still unsure about them, you can read the Splinterlands official post, which I've shared below. Modern Ranked Brackets start this upcoming season!!!
To be honest, when I started this season, I picked the wrong bracket. I hope you don't do the same, so you should check out the post first and then you'll have a little idea about which bracket to choose. I don't want you to make the same mistake. If you haven't just started playing the new season, you should read the official post from Splinterlands and you'll find everything you need to know. Well, mostly everyone must have read the post because people wait for any update but still if you have not read it then you can get clarity from there.
As I told you, today I did a lot of battles and had a lot of fun. First I did battles in Frontier and then I did a lot of battles in Modern. Whenever you choose any bracket, you will get divisions from 9 to 1. And 9 is the lowest and 1 is the top. Which is quite obvious as you might be knowing. Whenever you choose any bracket, you will start from division 9 and you will gradually move up as your ranking increases.
Today while I was playing I unlocked bracket 8 and with that I got some rewards. If you are in the lower bracket then you will get free reward points and you will get glint tokens only. Right now I am not clear on the use case of reward points. Maybe when the season ends things will become more clear. For now my focus is to keep battling and improve my ranking and move up as many divisions as I can. And for passing each division you will get rewards which is obvious.
Today when I If I unlocked it then I got some rewards, you can see them below, I have shared their screenshots.
To be honest, I like this new system a lot better because you can choose where you will battle and you can decide your battles based on your cards. If you have higher level cards, you can go to the upper division to battle and you can compete with people who are of your level. If you want to play in a lower link, that is your choice.
I really like the new system because you can choose which level cards you can use, giving you an advantage. If you have low-level cards, you won't have to worry about your opponent using a higher-level card. This is a great way to do that. And the battles will be much more level-playing and interesting, as the cards will be of the same level, making it much more fun to battle. What do you think about this update?

My warrior friend,you just said you made a mistake! Is it that you don't have the cards to fully compete in the bracket you chose?
yes i choose the gold bracket first then i choose the silver. it was hard for me to battle there. its time to add more archons to my deck.

For me I just have three Archons I am constantly using besides the foundation Archons. They are Cryptic Lv.2( water & Death), Eternal Tofu(earth and Life),Lv.2 and Nidhogger (dragon)
So you can see the three alone covers my various splinters. But at the moment doubt if there would still be lv 2. to rent.
For units, you need at least three to four healer or repairers as well.like me I have Meriput, Satha Toledo, fibzo the fabulous and Calabash Sage. You just just need them. Though I don't have for water and death splinters.
Certainly one cannot have it all. But these has been helping me to some extent.

I find I am now running out of energy for the first time, so I guess that is a good sign, I'm definitely playing more Modern Battles, I do miss not being able to play my lvl1 zero mana cards though.
Currently I'm trying to push into Division 6, I need 100 more rating to make it, but for now my Energy is depleted, time to let it recharge
