My Splinterlands Battle Analysis: Outsmarting the Briar Patch Ruleset

in Splinterlands15 hours ago

Hello Splinterlands players, how are you? I hope you're all doing well and your season is going well. There are still about 7 days and 20 hours left until the season ends. I hope you'll achieve a good ranking by the end of the season and collect as many rewards as possible. My season is going well right now. I wouldn't say it's going as well as I expected, but there are still a lot of days left, so I'll try my best to make it even better. Today, through this post, I'm going to share a perfect strategy with you all. I hope you'll like it and support it. If you'd like to share some comments, you can do so in the comments section below. Thank you.

As you can see, the mana cap is 29, and I could use all elements. This time, I chose the Water Sea because, while I don't have many high-level Water cards, I've used it a lot in the past, which is why it's my favourite. You can also see the ruleset that was used, so I didn't use any Melee cards. In my Open Net, I used a Melee card, which was supposed to be a tank. And it's a great tank right now. But remember, not all of your card types work in every ruleset, so you have to adjust your strategy based on your particular ruleset.

Ruleset:

  • Briar Patch -:
  • All units have Thorns (returns 2 damage to attacker when hit by a melee attack).
  • Damage returned is equal to the damage of the attacker divided by 2, rounded up.
  • Melee attack units with the Deflect do not take damage from thorns.
  • The Amplify ability increases damage.

You can read about this particular rule set in detail above if you don't know about it.

You can see the cards my opponent and I used during the battle above. You'll get the idea that most of the cards my opponent and I used were cards that supported the other cards. The idea was that the first card would act as a tank, and the other cards would support it. I also used a tank healer card in the third position, and my opponent used a card with the Corrupted Healing ability. So, both of us had one heart each, and most of the cards I used were ranged attack cards.

image.png

Look, the first card was a tank, so if the first card suffered any damage, the other cards would also suffer significant damage. I chose Summoner here because it gives me a bit of speed, but my opponent used Clipping Ooze, which reduced the speed of all my cards. So, overall, I still have the same speed as my original cards. If my opponent hadn't used this particular card, this battle would have been much more interesting. If you watch the battle until the end, you'll have a lot of fun because I made this battle very interesting, and the placement of all the cards was quite interesting.

image.png

During this battle, I didn't lose a single card of mine, which is a good thing, and I destroyed all of the cards. You should definitely watch this pattern. You'll have a lot of fun, and you'll also notice that if you adjust your cards according to a particular rule set, the battle becomes much more interesting, and most times the battle goes in your favour if you pay close attention to the rule set. So, overall, the whole game is about room seats and abilities. If you pay close attention to these two things, then your victory is certain, and no one can stop you from doing so.

I hope you found this battle interesting and learned something new from here. Please share your thoughts in the comments section below. Thank you.
