There are only 5 days left for the season to end, and I've been playing a little bit from time to time, but I've been facing a lot of setbacks, which have left me feeling quite demotivated. I'll probably take a break next season, and only then will I try to battle again. See, if you're constantly hurt, it kind of demotivates you. And just to address this, I'd like to take a break from the season and see how much it helps me. Look, apart from playing, there are many opportunities here, and I have discovered some opportunities some time back, maybe you might have discovered them before also, but it was not for me, so today I would like to share that opportunity with all of you. Well, any player who plays Splinterlands knows that there are so many opportunities. I mostly play Battle and don't engage in anything else. There are plenty of other opportunities here, even without battles. Previously, you could generate income from card renting, but now you have to pay a fee to rent each card, and this fee is charged monthly, making it costly if you don't have good cards. If you have very expensive cards, it might even be profitable, as renting your cards makes your recovery easier. If you have low-level cards, the rent you receive is significantly lower, which prevents you from earning the profits you'd like.
SPS The real Gold of Splinterlands :
Well, the best thing here is that you can make a good profit through SPS. This is a great way you run without doing anything. You just have to purchase SPS and stake it. Upon staking, you get an APR of around 10.9%. While it used to be around 13% earlier, 10% is still quite good. If your SPS stat is higher, then you will get a much better interest rate. I don't have any goals for SPS right now. I stake whatever I earn, and in return for staking, I get SPS and vouchers. And whatever I collect as rewards, I stake it again. And so, I've increased my SPS. It's not that much right now, but I'm slowly growing it. I'm trying to make it as attractive as possible so that it can generate passive income for me. I want to do a lot more, which I'll tell you about in future posts.
Vouchers to DEC or DEC to Vouchers :
The rewards you get from staking SPS include SPS and vouchers. If you want, you can redeem those SPS or convert them into DEC. If you stake them again, you'll see a slight increase in your rewards. And with that, you get vouchers. I recently discovered something new that allows you to convert your vouchers into DEC. You can also sell your vouchers on the Highway Engine Market, but for that, you'll first need to move your vouchers to the Highway Engine, then sell them from there, and then you'll have to buy up any Hive swaps you receive, then bring them back into your game.
The process here seems a bit tedious and lengthy. Yes, I thought so too, and there's a fairly good process through which you can convert your vouchers into instant decs and decs into vouchers. You'll have to pay a fee of approximately 2.5%. This is fully mentioned there, and you can read it. If you don't want to go through such a lengthy process, you can do it instantly and convert your vouchers into decs immediately.
Buy More cards:
And now comes the most important thing, which is that you can buy a card with your converted dec or you can buy your seasonal pass with it, and there are many other uses as well. Although I mostly use it for buying with the card, and even if you buy a card, then you definitely get cashback in some form or another, even if you use any kind of platform, and this cashback goes directly to your Hive Engine wallet, and from there you can transfer whatever reports you get to your game.
