Yeah, I'm 90% sure @neong is right... if you moved into Diamond, but then lose a game or two and drop into gold at EOS, you'll be playing for diamond chests next season.

I've been checking out a number of people's blogs and videos re season chests... and I'm thinking the sweet spot is actually playing in bronze (with gold level cards). The accounts that are being experimented with are making 20+ (bronze) focus chests per day playing just 30min per day. I'm playing in gold, and have to play down to 85% ECR TWICE per focus session just to get 5-7 gold chests... and from what I'm seeing, those 20-30 bronze chests are kicking my 5-7 gold chests' ass BY FAR :-(

... hmmm... Gonna give it 1 more season, and then I'm gonna start a second account switching cards between them each season... playing an account up to gold, and then ignoring it for a season and letting it finish in bronze, and then switch back.

Choices, Choices :P

Ah, that sucks. I guess I am stuck here for at least one more season. I am thinking that playing in the silver or gold tier might be the best bet for me. I know that people who are getting bronze chests are doing well just because they are getting so many of them. I expect they will adjust that in time. Sounds like you have a good plan setup in the meantime. I used to have multiple accounts and it got to be too much of a pain shuffling stuff all the time. I just don't have the time for that these days.

Yeah... I got rid of all my alts too: Just the 1 for me, 1 for my wife and another with the "spares" that mucks about in low bronze that we take turns playing for fun when we've run out ECR :P

Every time Splinterlands makes a big change it takes a season or 3 for things to settle down... so I'm not gonna do anything drastic... YET ;-)

There's always plan C: Just keep on playing for fun 🥳🥳🥳

I have been trying to keep my ECR in the high 60 to low 70 range. It has been a struggle though. I would like to keep it higher, but I need those chests!
