What's up people, how are you? welcome to a new post, I hope you like it, I haven't done a splinterlands fan art for a long time but finally I decided to do another one about the RIVER NYMPH card.
Que pasa gente, como estan? sean bienvenidos a un nuevo post, espero les guste, tenia mucho tiempo sin facer un fan art de splinterlands pero al fin me anime hacer otro acerca de la carta RIVER NYMPH
RIVER NYMPH Short History
River Nymphs inhabit the rivers of the Splinterlands. Shy and reclusive, they usually remain hidden beneath the water's surface. However, they have a strong respect for life, and they have been known to aid those in need. They are also fiercely protective of their homes and will defend it if it is threatened.
Las ninfas de río habitan en los ríos de las Tierras Esparcidas. Tímidas y reclusas, suelen permanecer ocultas bajo la superficie del agua. Sin embargo, sienten un gran respeto por la vida y se sabe que ayudan a los necesitados. También son ferozmente protectores de su hogar y lo defenderán si se ve amenazado.
Process / Proceso
Once I had the sketch ready, which I was working on for a few hours and changed the pose a couple of times, I had a long time without making a semi complete body.
Una vez tenia listo el boceto, el cual estuve trabajando durante unas cuantas horas ademas de cambiar la pose un par de veces, tenia mucho tiempo sin hacer un cuerpo semi completo.
After finishing the sketch I started to place the base colors but with a more subdued tone for a slightly more realistic look in colors, once I had placed the base colors I started to shade the skin and body with a slightly darker color plus adding a few small touches of light on the dress and body.
Despues de terminar el boceto comence a colocar los colores base pero con una tonalidad mas tenue para un aspecto ligeramente mas realista en colores, una vez ya habia colocado las base de los colores comencé a sombrar la piel y el cuerpo con un color ligeramente mas oscuro ademas de añadir unos pequeños toques de luz en el vestido y en el cuerpo.
Since the hair covered most of the drawing was the first thing I decided to finish painting completely, you can see that I used 3 base colors to shade and highlight some strands of hair, painting the hair was a bit complicated since it was quite volume.
Ya que el pelo cubría gran parte del dibujo fue lo primero que decidi terminar de pintar por completo, pueden ver que utilice 3 tonalidades base para sombrear y resaltar algunos mechones pintar el pelo fue algo complicado ya que era bastante volumen.
Once the hair was finished I started to blur the skin of the drawing as well as other parts of the body, as you can see while I was painting the other parts of the body I was running the lineart, retouching the lines, after I finished correcting some details in the skin, I started to paint the lips and the eyes of the face.
Una vez terminado el pelo comence a difuminar la piel del dibujo al igual que otras partes del cuerpo, como pueden observar mientras pintaba las demas partes del cuerpo a su vez iba corriendo el lineart, retocando las lineas, después de terminar de corregir algunos detalles en la piel, comencé a pintar los labios y los ojos de la cara.
As the perspective is tilted upwards I made the background in spiral, they are clouds with circular shape, to paint the clouds I used 3 colors, gray, light gray and strong white besides adding texture in the clouds to give a more realistic look.
Como la perspectiva esta inclinada hacia arriba el fondo lo hice en espiral, son nubes con forma circular, para pintar las nubes utilice 3 colores, gris, gris claro y blanco fuerte ademas de añadir textura en las nubes para dar un aspecto mas realista.
Finally I gave some highlights all over the body, hair and face, that was the whole process, I hope you liked it.
Por ultimo di algunos toques de luz en todo el cuerpo, en el pelo y en la cara, ese fue todo el proceso, espero les haya gustado.
