RE: How to undelegate if you typed the wrong account?

in Splinterlands4 years ago (edited)

No problem @beffeater. Yes, just delegate 0, this will "override" the old delegation and you will see a message in your wallet that you're undelegating your SPT and how long you have to wait until you can use them again.

I would keep them and use them to vote yourself. Especially if you're active on SplinterTalk. I once delegated 2,000 SPT to monster-curator because I like the project very much but I didn't received any returns (I guess I didn't delegated enough) and I wanted to use my SPT to support content on SplinterTalk myself. So I undelegated. But what's the best decision for you is up to you...

Thank you very much friend! I guess I will keep myself the tokens because I love supporting new projects.
Do u know how the payback when you support a post works? Ty in advance!

Do you mean curation rewards? I don't know if this has changed but the last time I checked about half of your upvote value goes to the author of the post after it pays out and you'll get the other half. So if your upvote is worth 1 SPT you would get around 0.5 SPT for a 100% upvote.
