Happy weekend, citizens of Praetoria and hivers! We're already halfway through November! It's incredible how the weeks fly by; my mind is still back in July/August when I was enjoying my summer vacation. But as usual, whenever we reach the middle of the month, or in other words, the end of the first season, I'll share my Splinterlands progress with you, starting with Lands, my favorite part of the game. Last week, while browsing the natural land market, I found a rather interesting plot in Great Lowlands. It's a rare terrain with a desert biome, and I already had a quarry built in it! I didn't want to miss this opportunity to add another quarry. I had already sold the common plot I had revealed, and it's a bitter memory every time I think about revealing that plot in Wild Northeast.
Feliz fin de semana ciudadanos de Praetoria y hivers! Ya estamos a mitad del mes de Noviembre! Es increíble como pasan las semanas, mi mente todavía esta por allá en julio/agosto cuando disfrutaba de mis vacaciones de verano. Pero como es costumbre, siempre que llegamos a mitad del mes o en otras palabras al final de la primera temporada comparto con ustedes mi progreso en Splinterlands, empezando primeramente por Lands mi parte favorita del juego. Resulta que la semana pasada mientras peinaba el mercado de parcelas naturales encontré una parcela en Great Lowlands bastante interesante, se trata de un terreno raro con bioma de desierto y ya tenía una cantera construida! No quería pasar esta oportunidad de sumar otra cantera, ya había vendido la parcela común que había revelado y es un recuerdo amargo cada vez que recuerdo cuando revelé esa parcela en Wild Northeast.
Ideally, we would have added two common farms or one rare farm, but these are quite scarce in the Lowlands, so acquiring this plot is for long-term development because I'm still interested in acquiring plots that produce grain. We'll review the price of potential workers for that plot, but first, we'll check the production of our active lands.

We'll start with our grain farm in Hamford. The workers here are mostly gold common cards that I gradually collected during the Chaos Legion era. This includes a gold legendary reward I got from end-of-season chests. I could improve the quality of these workers, but for that, I'd prefer to buy another plot that's rare or even epic.

I took advantage of the low price of hives and Dec to buy a large amount of grain to feed the workers during harvest time. In fact, to be honest, I should buy a large amount of grain in case Dec reaches Peg again; it will cost us much more to buy this resource.

Oxborough is where we have our epic plot; everything is fine here. For now, the only thing worth upgrading would be that totem, but I'm more interested in finding and buying new plots and workers. I should also point out that when I bought those golden epic workers, it was during such a low point in asset prices that I saved 20% off the current cost of those cards.

Of course, a more exotic plot, with workers of epic or legendary rarity, requires large amounts of grain to harvest resources. In the case of my epic plot, the cost of a 7-day production is 50,000 grain, which is equivalent to 815 Dec, or $0.47. And we're talking about a single plot, so if you're going to participate in this phase of the game, you should be very clear about which plots to buy and whether you have the budget to maintain them.
Por supuesto una parcela de carácter más exótico, con trabajadores con una rareza épico o legendario requiere de grandes cantidades de grano a la hora de cosechar los recursos. En el caso de mi parcela épica el costo de una producción de 7 días completos son 50K de granos es el equivalente a 815 Dec que son el equivalente a 0,47$ y estamos hablando de una sola parcela, esto significa que si vas a participar de esta fase del juego debes tener bastante claro que parcelas comprar y si tienes el presupuesto para mantenerlas.
In my last production report, we had accumulated 200,000 stone, and now we have 240,000 and 40,000 grain. With the next harvest, we should be able to increase our grain supply to 50,000, allowing us to feed the epic workers next week. This means I'm covered for the rest of November in terms of the grain needed for the workers.
En mi último reporte de producción, habíamos acumulado una cantidad de 200K de piedra y ahora tenemos 240K y 40K de grano que en la próxima cosecha podremos llevar a 50K de grano y poder alimentar los trabajadores épicos la próxima semana. Now let's take a look at the card market, or should I say, the potential workers for our lands. As I mentioned before, we bought another desert biome plot, which means that to get a bonus to resource production, I should prioritize fire and dragon class workers. I wanted to first look at the common black foil cards, which have a fairly decent production rate to start with, but they're still very expensive. With the price of one of them, I could buy two rare totems! For now, we'll have to wait for more cards to be offered and see if the prices drop.
Ahora echemos un vistazo al mercado de cartas o debería decir de los potenciales trabajadores para nuestras tierras. Como mencioné anteriormente compramos otra parcela de bioma desértico, eso significa que para conseguir una bonificación en la producción de recursos debo priorizar trabajadores de clase fuego y dragón. Quise primero echar un vistazo a las cartas comunes de lámina negra que tienen una producción bastante aceptable para empezar, pero siguen a un precio muy alto, con lo que vale una de ellas podría comprar 2 tótems raros! Por ahora debemos esperar a que se oferten más cartas y ver si los precios bajan.
The best option remains the Chaos Legion (CL) cards. Whether Splinterlands likes it or not, this card set continues to have a profound impact on every aspect of the game. I say this because I just finished a round of Brawls and won most of my battles with Chaos Legion cards. Perhaps later I'll make a post about the true legacy this card set has left behind. But for now, my conclusion is that CL golden rare cards offer the best value, especially if they're rewards, which average around $19-20.
La mejor opción sigue siendo las cartas Chaos Legion (CL) definitivamente lo quiera o no Splinterlands, esta edición de cartas sigue teniendo un impacto profundo en cada aspecto del juego. Digo esto porque acabo de terminar un ronda de Brawls y gane la mayoría de mis batallas con cartas Chaos Legion, quizás más adelante haga un post del verdadero legado que ha dejado esta edición de cartas. Pero por lo pronto mi conclusión es que las cartas raras doradas CL tienen la mejor relación/precio, sobre todo si son rewards que tienen en promedio un valor de 19-20$.
Frontier
We'll continue with our progress in Frontier. I must admit I've managed to curb my addiction to this format a bit more and am paying closer attention to the modern format and the new reward cards. But I haven't stopped playing this fantastic format; I simply love this minimalist playstyle and I'm eager to max out my Foundations cards. The first thing I want to share is the result of last week's giveaway, which was unsuccessful, but we'll have better luck next Monday.
Seguimos ahora con nuestro progreso en Frontier, debo reconocer que he controlado un poco más mi adicción por este formato y poniéndole más atención al formato moderno y las nuevas cartas rewards. The packs have been quite generous in terms of card rarity, ranging from epics to legendaries, and common and golden rare cards. I won't list all the packs I've opened over the past two weeks, but these are the most noteworthy.

Progress with the fire class/Progreso con la clase fuego
The Fire class has become a real bottleneck for me. My Archon is still at level 2, and while I've obtained enough common cards of this class, the rare and epic cards have been a complete frustration. In the last two days alone, I've managed to get copies of Ash Archer to level 2 and of the legendary Agniavan Salamander, although in this case I would need the archon at least level 3 to be able to use it.
La clase fuego se ha convertido en un verdadero cuello de botella para mi, mi arconte sigue en nivel 2 y aunque he obtenido suficiente cartas comunes de esta clase pero las cartas raras y épicas han sido una completa frustración. Solo en estos últimos 2 días he conseguido copias de Ash Archer para llevarlo a nivel 2 y de la legendaria Agniavan Salamander aunque en este caso necesitaría al arconte en al menos lvl 3 para poder usarlo.
Progress in the earth class/Progreso en la clase tierra
My progress in the Earth class is the most significant and where I really see the biggest impact. First, Dire Bear, which I wanted in my deck from the moment I saw it in the campaign. Just this morning, when I was opening my three daily packs, I got my second golden copy, so I was able to level it up to 4 and take advantage of its increased speed and health. The second card is Glimmermancer. How difficult it's been to get this epic card to level 2, and it only takes four cards! And although the difference is just the increase in maximum health by 1, when you face battles with poison or rulesets like Global Warming, that difference is crucial to winning.
Mi progreso en la clase tierra es el más significativo y donde realmente veo un mayor efecto, primero Dire Bear que desde el primer momento que lo vi en la campaña quería tenerlo en mi mazo. Justo hoy en la madrugada cuando abría mis 3 packs del día me salió la segunda copia dorada asi que pude llevarla a nivel 4 y aprovechar su incremento de velocidad y vida. La segunda carta es Glimmermancer, cuan difícil ha sido llevar esta carta épica a nivel 2 y solo se necesitan 4 cartas! Y aunque la diferencia es el incremento de la vida máxima en 1, cuando enfrentas batallas con veneno o ruleset como global warming esa diferencia es crucial para ganar una batalla.
Progress with the neutral class/Progreso con la clase neutra
We conclude our progress with the Foundation cards by upgrading Spellmonger to level 3. This is a very convenient card in low-mana battles when the opponent usually uses sneak or opportunistic units, so the more robust this unit is, the more attacks it will take to execute the opponent, weakening and even eliminating them with its Thorns ability.
Cerramos nuestro progreso con las cartas Foundation upgradeando a Spellmonger al nivel 3, esta es una carta muy conveniente en batallas de bajo mana cuando por lo general el oponente usa unidades con sneak u oportunistas, así que mientras sea más robusta sea esta unidad más ataques le tomará ejecutar al oponente debilitándolo e incluso eliminándolo por su habilidad thorns.

Finally, we concluded this bi-weekly progress with our most recent Guild Battle. Today I had a particularly great performance, winning 6 out of 7 battles in the regular card brawl in the Gold League. It was a pretty close Brawl, and despite the good performance, we finished second by 6 battles. The good thing is that the reward in merits was quite generous. We opened 3 Gladius cases to continue adding common and rare cards to our long-term goal of getting our cards to the maximum level of the Gold League.
Finalmente cerramos este progreso quincenal con nuestra más reciente batalla de gremios, hoy tuve particularmente un genial desempeño 6 victorias de 7 batallas en la refriega de cartas regulare en la liga dorada. Fue una Brawl bastante cerrada y a pesar del buen desempeño quedamos de segundos por 6 batallas, lo bueno es que la recompensa en méritos fue bastante generosa. Abrimos 3 gladius cases para continuar sumando cartas comunes y raras para continuar la larga meta de llevar nuestras cartas al máximo nivel de la liga dorada.
We got a good number of common and rare cards, which is what I expected and wanted. I'm still a long way from getting a level 8 common or a level 7 rare, so I'll need a lot of gladius cases to reach that goal. The exception was this epic card: Edith Emberstar, but as you can see, that card is level 4, and I would need 9 copies to reach the maximum level we could use it for in the Gold League. We'll keep accumulating merits to at least open 6 to 8 gladius cases per week.
Obtuvimos una buena cantidad de cartas comunes y raras que era lo que esperaba y quería, aun estoy muy lejos de llegar a una común lvl 8 o una rara lvl 7 por lo que necesitaré muchos gladius cases para llegar a esa meta. La excepción fue esta carta épica: Edith Emberstar pero como pueden ver esa carta esta lvl 4 y necesitaría 9 copias para el máximo nivel que podríamos aprovechar esta carta en la liga dorada.
