Hello Splinter nerds
The Rebellion reward cards will roll out on Oct 21st, and after that day, they will no longer be purchasable with Glint; players will only be able to buy them from others in the market... Sadly, I was unable to max all the Gold reward cards on Emp-Warden, but still, I maxed all the Regular foil and also maxed all the common and rare golds.
We still have a few more days after season end to buy the last batch of the rebellion reward cards in the shop, and after that, the conclave arcana reward set will roll in. I have given up on maxing the legendary reward Gf, but for the epics, it is possible, cos it is only one epic gf left, which is my favorite epic card [ Olivia the brook], just 1 bcx is needed to max it and am ready to pour 1million glint on epic gold foil chest once the season end just to max this card.
The good news is we have a new set of reward cards to spend our glint on, and not just that, we have more cards to fight in the modern format, which makes the gameplay more interesting.
The Revamp
A lot of changes are coming to Splinterlands that will make the game more interesting for players and investors.
- Starting from Oct 14th to Nov 4, Halloween skins will be available in the Glint shop for purchase. I have seen those skins on the Splinterlands page, and I am sure I will be spending some glints to get some of the skins. you can read more about the skins here
The common cost is 500, which is cheap and affordable. The rare is not expensive either; the epic cards are not many, so 8000 per skin is decent, but the legendary seems too costly, but then I guess I had no choice but to close my eyes and purchase it. Having these skins on the monsters encourages more gameplay as you get to see your monsters shine in battles.
- 43 brand new cards are coming! The conclave arcana reward cards include 12 Common, 12 Rare, 7 Epic, and 12 Legendary cards, and they will only be purchasable with glint as usual. The painful part of this now is that they have removed the separate gold foil draw, so it would no longer be possible to specifically buy gold foil cards. This change might make it difficult to have a max gold reward deck without buying some of the cards off the market but the good side of it is that the gold foil cards are tradable without the need to unlock them.
Lastly, the weekly fortune draw might boost sps price because the third step of getting the rarest card in the game requires sps staked, either owned or delegated, so this will encourage players to stake more sps or rent sps in the market.
I look forward to all this. The last few months of the year 2025 will be fun for Splinterlands gamers!
Moreover, I can't wait to start using the new reward cards to battle; who knows they might come with new abilities to try out and master.
