Greetings SplinterLovers 💚

Building a deck in Splinterlands, especially if you're new to the game, can be challenging, particularly with the number of cards currently available in the game. However, with a tool that I will share with you, and which I have mentioned before, you will have all the information you need to build a deck from scratch with the best chances of winning battles. This will not only give us rewards for winning, but also improve our gameplay. After all, if you want to be good at this game, you must have good cards. It's that simple.

But it can be challenging to start from scratch. There are so many different cards and editions that it's really difficult to make a decision. But luckily for everyone, I'm here to explain how to clear up all those doubts and make decisions based on statistics, which will always allow you to choose the best possible card. This will help you improve a lot and not get stuck because you don't know what kind of cards you want and need. The truth is that in this ecosystem, you win if you know where to look and where to get information, and that's what I'm going to give you.

So, if you want to know how to build a strong deck with informed information, stick around until the end of this post, because it will be very helpful:

How to use SplinterStats perfectly to build a deck?

Okay, I'll try to get to the point in this post so as not to go on too long, so in this section, I'll explain the tool you should use and how to use it so that you can get all the information you need to make better decisions. Of course, along the way, I'll give you some key recommendations so that you understand the reasoning behind each step. So, without further ado, let's get started:

SplinterStats "Battle Data" option

Okay, to begin, we must log into the SplinterStats platform and look for the option called "Battle Data," which will help us gather the information we need to know which cards we will need to build our deck. But first, let's go over some important aspects you should know to get the most out of it. Since there are so many cards, the idea is to focus only on specific editions, which is why I will explain what they are and why:

  • Focus on the "Rebellion and Arcane Conclave" editions: This is the first thing you need to know before learning how to use the tool: the only editions you will need to build your card decks are these two, which are "Rebellion" and "Conclave Arcana." The reason for this is very simple: because both editions are part of the "Modern Format." Basically, they are the only ones that can be used, and these editions are part of the "Meta." In short, they are the strongest and most in demand.

  • Focus on (Usage %, Win Rate, and Estimated Value): These are the only metrics you need to interpret and/or sort through to build your deck of cards. Don't get distracted by anything else; you only need this to know which cards are the best, which are in highest demand, and, of course, which ones win battles.

How to apply filters?

Before moving on to this, I will briefly explain what this tool does:

Basically, what it does is collect all the battles from the official Splinterlands API for each season, thus determining the number of battles that have been played in each league and game format. In addition to this, it collects all the cards that are played, thus determining a lot of data that can help us determine the best cards in each edition. In this case, we are focused on the "Modern" format for the reasons I explained earlier. With that clear, let's see how the filters should be applied:

BATTLE DATA.png

In the image, you can see how to apply the filters correctly for this to work. However, for those who still don't understand, I will explain each point:

  • Seasons: You should always choose the latest season in progress, in this case 167, as we want to obtain the latest updated information.

  • Format: We are only interested in the "Modern," and the reasons for this have already been explained above.

  • League: Here you must choose the league you really want to play in. You can determine this depending on the capital you have to invest. Although you can play cards at the maximum level in all leagues, depending on your liquidity, you will play well in some and not in others. In this case, select "Gold" because it is like a balance point.

  • Type of card: You need to choose both, as you must have "Summoners," now called "Archons," because without them you won't be able to play the rest of the units. It's that simple.

  • Edition and Splinter: Here, you will only select P (Promo), Rebellion, and Conclave Arcana, which are precisely the ones I have selected.

How and in what order should the cards be selected?

Archons

ARCONTES.png

As you can see in the image, here you can find the "Archons." I would start with them first, since they are generally the most expensive cards, and without them we couldn't play units or monsters, plus they are extremely useful on the battlefield. Of course, each of these "Archons" has its own rarity, which makes the card more expensive or cheaper. Make sure you have a balance in your selection. I mean, maybe a single legendary archon would be fine, and at least two rare ones to cover more ground when playing.

Units/Monsters

UNIDADES.png

On the other hand, we have the units or monsters, basically sorted by the same thing: "Percentage of victories and their estimated value." At this point, you should also choose with balance in mind. You can focus on selecting the "Legendary" cards with the highest win percentage, but you may not have them all, and you also need the other rarities. The idea is to have variety, so you shouldn't buy everything on the list. You have to be selective, especially if your capital is limited, even if you rent, where we commonly have more leeway.

Note: I would focus on cards that are equal to or greater than 46%, although the most important thing is the balance I mentioned earlier. What I mean is that you need cards of all rarities; having variety is the key to winning.

Conclusion

I hope you can make the most of this platform. I use it a lot when I need to make investment decisions or find out what the current "goal" is in the game. All this information can even help you develop strategies, so the idea is to take advantage of it. Also, one point I forgot to mention is that the idea is to do it by "Splinter/Element," so that you have an order.

If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment.

With nothing further to add, until next time, "Splinterlords."
