With the renewal of ranked rewards, what is the best strategy to make GLINTS profitable?

Greetings Splinterlovers 💚

As the title suggests, with the renewal of rewards thanks to the arrival of the cards from the "Arcana Conclave" SET reward edition, the strategies and objectives we had previously no longer work, since, as we have more rewards on the horizon, the way we used our GLINTS cannot be the same. Therefore, we must be clear about the new objectives, which ones to prioritize, and how to do so, since one of the things we must do is maximize the rewards.

To do this, we first need to list the goals we should achieve if we want to earn greater liquid rewards. By this, I mean having immediate liquidity with which you can invest or, failing that, increase the level of your deck with new cards, not to mention that there are now new "Items" that we absolutely must try to collect. So, we have to see how to buy, what would be best according to our budget, among many other details.

With all that said, I hope you stick around until the end of this post, because I'll help you focus if you're feeling lost:

What are the objectives that should be taken into account to increase progression in Splinterlands?

Okay, to begin with, as I mentioned at the beginning and in other past posts, we have a reward overhaul, so now our goals regarding earning as much as we can must change, even if we really don't want to. With that clear, if you really want to start earning rewards, before setting goals you must have the following:

  • A deck of cards, preferably "META" to increase your chances of winning battles, something you absolutely need, because otherwise, you won't be able to win.

  • Having a good amount of SPS, which depends on the league you are in, will not only give you a good "Multiplier" that will increase your SPS and GLINT rewards, but it will also help you earn "Futures Entries.".

Now, here are the goals we will be considering with these new rewards. Of course, I will explain them all for those who are still confused:

Objectives to consider

  • Buying the right chests: The chests now have different probabilities of giving you one thing or another, however, two additional items have been added: the new "Unbinding Scrolls" and "Futures Entries," which are used to unlock "Regular Lamina" cards and win rarer cards in a raffle, respectively. For obvious reasons, your main investment should be in these chests, and how many you buy will depend solely on the amount of GLINTS you earn or produce while playing, as the costs have gone up since the percentage of getting one item or another is higher.

  • Buying the right Rarity Draws: I would say that this is another goal you should have, since, in order to complete the new "Arcane Conclave" reward set, you will eventually have to purchase these "Rarity Draws." However, in order to do so, you must have very good control over your GLINTS and not waste them without a clear strategy. I will discuss this a little later.

  • Buy Fortunes Entries and Energys: This would be the last thing, but that doesn't mean it's not important, since "Fortunes Entries" are very important for winning incredible rewards, as they offer us the most highly valued cards and rarities in the entire game, so we must pay attention to this as well.

What strategy should be followed and/or how should GLINTS be managed correctly?

One of the most important things to keep in mind is precisely this: the correct management of the GLINT you earn. Depending on the amount you collect, you can decide which "Chests, Rarity Draws, Fortune Entries, and Energy" you can purchase later on.

This is the most important thing of all, because if we don't do it right, it will be very difficult to earn rewards in the end. The chests give the most rewards, but they are really expensive, since the first batch of Ultimate Chests costs 10,000 GLINT, which is quite a large amount. So, if you don't earn much, you have to collect more than 100k GLINT to go shopping, although this would be the minimum, because the more we collect, the better, since the more chests we have, the more likely we are to win.

How should we manage them?

This is not so easy to answer, but I will tell you what I would do at the moment:

  • Win at least 25 or 30 battles: Currently, in the "Wild" format, I can earn around 512 GLINT per battle won. which means that if I win 30 out of 50 battles, I could have around 15,360 GLINT. Of course, it could easily be less than this, which means that at the end of the season, I could earn between 70k and 76k GLINT per battle won, which is not enough.

  • Gather 1 month or ½: This means that in a month you could collect around 153,600 GLINT, although these are approximations, it could be more or less. The important thing is that you collect at least a whole month's worth to start spending GLINTS in the store. There's no rush to open the chests or get rewards, because the idea is to open a good amount, not a small one.

Note: Now, with regard to what to buy once you have collected the GLINTS, you could apply percentage-based spending, for example, dividing the GLINTS into 3, about 33k for purchases, which could be between the "Ultimate Chest and Major Chest" chests, and always keeping a small percentage to spend on "Fortunes Entries and Energy." Don't allocate too much, but it's always good to leave between 15k and 20k for this. It might be a lot, but we must leave a backup to buy energy and "Fortunes Entries" because, even though it's luck-based, we might get it sometime.

Conclusion

I hope this helps you focus on everything related to the new goals you should have in Splinterlands thanks to the new in-game rewards with the arrival of the "Arcane Conclave" SET.
