Hidden Potential of Pelacor Cards

in Splinterlands3 years ago (edited)

Hello everyone!
Today let me share to you some of my insights about the The Pelacor Cards that we usually get on Daily Quest.

The Pelacor Cards

We have 4 types of Pelacor Cards at Splinterlands today.

  1. Pelacor Mercenary (Earth)
  2. Pelacor Bandit (Water)
  3. Pelacor Deceiver (Death)
  4. Pelacor Conjurer (Life)

PELACOR MERCERNARY (Earth)

Looking at this card, at Lvl 6 star it has Flying and Healing Abilities.
Comparing its utility to some cards with the same ability on Earth Race.
We all know that Kron, The Undying and Flesh Golem (Lvl 3) take the spot.

Both cards can tank and does a decent damage. They are the formidable combo with Scarred Llama Mage. But, on practical side with the same usage. You decide which you'll use after knowing their prices.
As of now, it's sale price:
Pelacor Mercenary- 13$
Flesh Golem (Lvl 3)- 109$
Kron, The Undying- 335$

PELACOR BANDIT (Water)

Pelacor Bandit is one of the few Water Cards that has SNEAK Ability aside from Coral Wraith

Comparing these two cards regarding on its ability at max level, I include price cards.
Coral Wraith
Attack: Magic, can pass through Armor
Ability: Sneak + Rust
Speed:3
HP:4
Price: 786$

Pelacor Bandit
Attack: 4
Ability: Sneak + Flying
Speed: 6
HP: 5
**Price: 38$ (Lvl 8, I havent seen a Lvl 10 at Market as of now)
**
Price range is really BIG! Also at rent, Pelacor bandit is very cheap.
Survivability and high chances of opponent's attack to missed favors Palecor Bandit due to high value of Speed, and can attack first!

PELACOR DECEIVER (Death)

DECEIVER.png

Pelacor Deceiver, this is in an Over Powered card if maxed out due to combination of abilities.
At Level 10,
Attack: 3
Abilities:
Flying: has increased chance of evading melee and ranged attack
Backfire: if the opponents target missed, it takes 2 damage
Retaliate: when hit by a melee attack, chances it will attack
Speed: 5
HP: 10
Price: 39.98$

Speed + Flying + Backfire + Retaliate = OMG!

It will surely owned those monsters with low speed be it melee or range attackers, if the opponent made a hit or missed, choices of Pelacor Deceiver was either to Backfire or Retaliate. No escape!
Plus its cheaper, though I've seen very few copies of this at level 10.
Besides, if I'm not mistaken Palecor Deceiver and Lord or Darkness are the only death cards that has retaliate ability ( correct me if Im wrong)
Screenshot 11.png

Attack: 10
Abilities:
Enrage, Stun, Shield and Retaliate
Armor: 2
Speed: 3
HP: 4
Price: 1,757.50$

I cannot compare Palecor Deceiver from LOD. LOD was meant to tank and its abilities are utilize in different situation.

PALECOR CONJURER (Life)

CONJURER.png

Palecor Conjurer, of all the Palecor Cards, it has the lowest mana capacity
Mana: 2
even on its maxed level!

Attack:0
Abilities:
Flying: has increased chance of evading melee and ranged attack
Magic Reflect: reduced magic damage
Divine Shield: negates first attack
Phase: magic attacks can miss
Armor: 0
Speed: 5
HP: 8
Price: 40$

This card serves as a support, turn/damage receiver, something like those of Furious Chicken (Neutral),Lord Ariantus (Neutral),Onyx Sentinel (Neutral), Peaceful Giant (Neutral), Failed Summoner ( Earth), Kelp Initiate (Water), Shadowy Presence (Death), Naga Brute ( Dragon), Dragon Spirit (Dragon) and etc..
Most of the time it is place at first position.

The good thing about this Palecor Conjurer, most of its attackers can miss even those magic attacks!
Though it has no armor but thanks to its Divine Shield ability, its safe from its first attacker.

My Point of View About The Palecor Cards

Well, as you can see these palecor cards isn't that bad after all. They just need to be uprgraded to their max level to utilize its max potential.
One thing that is BEST about these cards, its relatively CHEAP!
Cheap in a sense of its price and utilization compared to other cards with the same function.

If ever you bumped into one of these cards, think again before you sell it on the market.

That's all for me guys!

I hope I enlighten you about these Palecor Cards!
If you can add some information, please comment it down below.
Thanks!
Happy grinding guys!

very nice post

Thank you so much! Glad you like it!
Yes, I also use the lower level of Conjurer, it saves me a lot of my battles. Thanks to its flying ability.
