Just one thing ... is the AI calculating that the amount of DEC created from SPS is not linear as SPS price goes up. I mean at low SPS prices you burn more SPS and at high SPS you burn less. So as SPS increses in price the buy pressure drops more and more...

Yes, it is factoring that in. It is assuming that people are burning SPS at the price they are buying it at though (or more likely arbiters are burning the SPS instantly and selling it to the market).
One person pointed out a flaw that credit purchases will not need newly minted DEC, because the Splinterlands team will be able to instantly exchange the DEC they already received from others in the presale.
Yes this was my next thinking as well, but not sure how the team is managing the credits, and what is the process. Do they need to create DEC at all? Also its speculative how and when the team DEC will be converted...
