Where do the Frontier prize draw prizes go?

Another week on the frontier, another three "Sorry" messages across my accounts and another week for me to have a look at the numbers just to see where the prizes are going.

@beaker007 has jut updated his "jackpot" site (https://spl-jackpot-prizes.vercel.app/frontier-reward-draws) so we can have a look at who won all the cards, still no Black Foil Arcane Foundation cards out there - must be hiding in the bucket till my ticket comes out!

With just over 7000 cards to come out over the next 96 weeks still plenty of chances to pull a great prize.

I Like numbers and its fun to open up my spreadsheet every week just to have a look at a few facts, for example:-

  • @ghostlybg has more entries than any other player on one account with 964 over the 14 weeks (not to mention his alts!) has walked away with 1 prize but @kulotbunso has 859 entries and nothing to show for it

  • There are 2 accounts that have won 4 (Yes 4!) times in 14 weeks of draws @langice and @andrealion

  • 8% of accounts that have won at least one prize draw entry have participated in all 14 draws

  • 44% of players who have played every week have won at least once, 0.6% of players who have only played for 1 week have won.

  • The most number of entries on one account is 153!

  • 92 prizes have gone to "Lite" accounts

Numbers always look better with charts though...

The number of accounts who have played x weeks for example - those committed (or mad) 598 accounts who have played every week

The number of total accounts in Frontier mode is diminishing, as players more than likely return to modern in search of glint, but the number of "lite" accounts is consistent

One thing that playing with these results has made me do is look at learning how networks work in games like this, multi accounting is allowed (i do it), but i sometimes wonder when you see how many similar accounts there are, how much are they really winning - does the effort of someone like @ghostlybg get eclipsed by someone running 10-15 accounts for example one such network has picked up a number of prizes and sold them on - again im not saying they are doing anything wrong, but at least im teaching myself something about network graphs as a bit of fun!

Congratulations to every one, the chase is real and i will win something before the end of the draws!

Man, playing 3 accounts, especially in the last days of the season takes hours since the matchmaking takes at least 2 mins per battle, as you're basically playing vs the same 5-10 people all day every day, and you also have to play a lot more battles as the skill gap at that level is non-existent. It's mostly about RNG - whose unit will go first in a battle where I placed my taunt at the back while my opponent placed in in the 2nd spot all other units equal. So, imagine being a "network" playing manually 15-20 accounts. I call BS on that. :) Especially if they actually win their battles since if you win 15 battles per day you are bound to end up at the top of the LB.

It may be multiple players playing in the network but transfers to a main account, it's fun looking at it for me anyway 😄 but agreed playing 3 accounts every day is a time consuming project! Good job my wife enjoys watching TV in silence 🤣

Great article, love data analysis. One additional reason the entries are going down. Is that more and more are completing there deck then the motivation grind for only the draws will become less i think.

Yeah, my motivation is to get a gold foil deck through play, nearly maxed out one of my alts regular foil. I think the burning of cards for draws will then be a motivation… we will see!

Wow, Only my main is almost maxed (Regular Foil).

And burning i have hard time doing that, but we will see when we get there... need to prepare myself mentally for burning cards for cinder (land card)
