Un gran abrazo amigos de SPLINTERLANDS en esta ocasión a propósito de mi participación en el BattleMage Secrets que promueve la comunidad, he decidido plantearme esta interrogante, sobre el hecho de quién es mas fuerte en el ataque a distancia, es decir, ¿las flechas o la magia? Desde mi punto de vista cada forma de ataque tiene sus propias ventajas y desventajas, por lo que todo va a depender de las condiciones de batalla y de la intuición de los jugadores.

From my point of view each form of attack has its own advantages and disadvantages, so everything will depend on the battle conditions and the intuition of the players.

On this occasion the thematic battle condition was the KEEP YOUR DISTTANCE, a condition that only allows the presence of ranged attackers and monsters that do not attack, that is, the presence of magic and arrows was assured, and this is where intuition plays a fundamental role in the use of specific skills to counteract one of these forms of attack, skills which we will delve into later. The point is that if this is not prevented the magic can be highly destructive. The other battle condition is ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED? which allows the presence of a gladiator in the battle and the RISE OF THE COMMON condition, which only allows rare and common cards. Let us now look at the strategic approaches made by both my opponent and myself.

Y en base a lo anteriormente expuesto, si vamos a usar arqueros en nuestra alineación sin tomar previsiones ante la posible presencia de magia del rival las cosas pueden salir mal, como le pasó a mi oponente, quien se presenta con tres atacantes arqueros que fueron rápidamente eliminados de la batalla con mi potente magia, un ataque mágico que además estaba reforzado por el invocador DELWYN DRAGONSCALE. Con solo ver la alineación enemiga se veía claramente que la balanza de la vitoria estaría inclinada a mi favor, como en efecto sucedió.

Noten que mi oponente no utiliza ningún arquero con CLOSE RANGE, es decir, el arquero de la primera posición no atacará, entonces hablamos de solo dos monstruos participando en el ataque, que apenas acumulan una fuerza de 03 puntos de daño, contra mis ocho puntos de magia acumulados, mucha ventaja para mi, por eso para el cierre de la ronda 01 ya todo estaba sentenciado a mi favor.

Es por eso que en el KEEP YOUR DISTANCE habilidades como MAGIC REFLECT, RETURN FIRE, CLOSE RANGE, VOID, debemos de considerar para tener una buena defensa ante los posibles atacantes arqueros o mágicos que el oponente pueda utilizar, porque si no se toman previsiones pasan situaciones como la que acabamos de ver.
That is why in KEEP YOUR DISTANCE skills such as MAGIC REFLECT, RETURN FIRE, CLOSE RANGE, VOID, must be considered to have a good defense against possible archer or magic attackers that the opponent may use, because if you do not take precautions, situations like the one we have just seen will happen.
Esta batalla ha sido una de las victorias mas rápidas que he experimentado en mi historia en el juego, y que vine a resaltar lo que es el poderío mágico cuando actúa libremente, mas no significa que la magia sea mejor que las flechas, hay estrategias con flechas que son realmente poderosas.
