Greetings to all my fellow players around the world and to Splinterlands. How are you all doing Splinters? Hope you are all doing great.
Since I started writing in Splinterlands Community, I wanted to have a series of post that are easy to follow and connected to each other. Like a refference that they can visit. Perhaps its bacause of my attitude like if I have question in my mind, I'd rather search for answer on my own before asking for help. Its a simple way to help new players how to understand the game, pick some strategy that they can apply for themselves. I am now beggining to organize my writings and hopefully will help.
For todays Social Media Challenge I will be talking about my game progress in Splinterlands. My goal is to keep building ingame asset, concentrating mainly on cards and $SPS as of the moment. Later on perhaps I can participate in Land depending on my funds.
This time I buy some common and rare to add to my modern card collection. And by adding this I also minimise my rental cost and thereby increasing my profit in $SPS. Here are my new addition.
My New Common Cards

I believe that they are essential to my gameplay thats why i choose to upgrade those five cards. Its only at level 3 since I am only at bronze level. In the past 2 to 3 season the competetion is getting really hard, with lots of combined cards already lots of players have level up their game. That is why building deck is necessary in Splinterlands.
My New Rare Cards

I bought 6 new rare cards at level 2, big addition to the family and hopefully it can help me to rank up this season. Rare is more expensive than common, but the copy needed to upgrade is fewer. The one I am aiming to have are the Rebellion Promo Cards, they are very strong unit but quite expensive. So maybe later on. Slowly my line up is being built. I am currently stuck in bronze level tournament, but if I can upgrade to silver level deck soon, then it means more tournament profit.
Wild Cards, Unexpected Buy

While looking at the market my eyes were attracted to old cards, so I also added some cards that belongs to wild format, since I am actively participating in wild tournament, I needed some old cards that I feel might be able to boost my performance. When I got this cards, lots of memories came back. This are some of the cards I used to play wayback when I was just starting Splinterlands. This cards are not that expensive so it will not hurt to have a few. But of course I have to stick to my plan of completing and leveling up my modern deck. Its better to have one purpose than to have a scatter cards that I might end up short in battle. Its easy to get distracted when there are lots of old beautiful cards😁.
In Splinterlands its very important to have this cards collection, yes there are rentals ingame and in third party market but they are costly. I always include in the past post, card collection is essential to progress in Splinterlands. This weekly challenge in Splinterlands helps me on this part. Although we also have to take consideration our KE, so I am only diverting half of author rewards to Splinterlands. And once we have enough asset, there are lots of ways to earn in Splinterlands. Battling is the most exciting, the thrill of winning. While on the other side there is earnings as well without playing the rank game like in Land, Conflict, liscense, and liquidity pool. It really depends on players approach, Splinterlands is not just a game but its also an investment. There are lots of things to come so if you are not yet building deck, I encourage you to start now.
