Greetings to all my fellow players around the world and to Splinterlands. How are you all doing Splinters? Hope you are all doing great.
Last time I talked about my card collection and my progress in building deck in Splinterlands. I am a returning player and slowly accumulating the modern core set, the rebellion and conclave arcana. But there are another set of cards that we can get for free just by playing Splinterlands. And that will be my topic as a continuation of my progress on building deck. A series that I would like to share to our new players, more of like a guide.
For todays Splinterlands Social Media Challenge I am going to talk about my progress on Rewards Card and Foundation Card.
While the core sets can only be obtain by buying packs or cards, rewards card can be accumulated for free in the game. By playing in modern or wild format, we get glint as part of reward along with $SPS. Now this glint can be use to purchase the rewards card in Splinterlands Shop in rewards section. There are lots of choices that we can buy in the shops, you can explore it then choose what you like best.
Here are my latest common rewards cards after using my glint on last end of season rewards.

Goal achieved, my Common Rewards card have reach the maximum level. Broken Earth Thug is the only card that wasn't able to reach level 10, I had spent all my glint chasing that card but had no luck and end up having other card which are already in excess. So I decided not to take my chances on common draw, but rather buy the remaining 11 copy in the market. I already looked up and it will cost around 1400 $DEC. I have a schedule of buying cards every tuesday so I already consider it as max level as well. This is a milestone for me because this cards are my first ever at max level. Congratulations to myself!😁

Now lets go over to my Rare Rewards Card.Two of my rare rewards card have reach the maximum level. Still need at least two season to complete the needed copy.
Look at those rewards cards ability and stats, they are beautiful and I would say that we needed this cards to compliment the core set.
Now the big question is how can I use them to its full potential if I only have a bronze level archon? I thought of a temporary solution by buying a max level dragon archon. But it will just be limited to three element only. Lets say I choose a dragon archon and pick the life element, I can summon unit from dragon, life and neutral only. Thats why this is just temporary, but nevertheless a big boost to battle.

The photo above show the copy of my foundations cards. I acquire them by just playing the Frontier Format. This was design for new onboard player to have the experience of playing Splinterlands. The Frontier Card we get is actually free and has real value. Its sellable and transferrable, unlike Rebellion Rewards Card which are soulbound.

That is the value of my Foundations Cards. I know I know I am behind in when it comes to Frontier😁. Because I am being bullied by the new players. They seems to be very good in battle.
The best thing about frontier is the weekly raffle where Splinterlands give away the black and gold foil cards. Those are the most expensive card right now. So I hope that new players will continue to play not just the Frontier but also the Modern Format as well.
Rebellion Rewards Cards and Foundations Card are both free cards that we can obtain by just dedicating time to play Splinterlands. There is another set of Cards that we can obtain for free which is the Gladius Card. But I don't want to overwhelm our new player with too much information. Just enjoy the Frontier for the meantime and I am hoping to see you all in Modern Format Battlefield. I am sure you will have fun.
