Greetings to all my fellow players around the world and to Splinterlands. How are you all doing Splinters? Hope you are all doing great.
This is my 5th installment of my progress in Splinterlands that I continously share every week here in our Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. Let me begin by giving details how I played this current season where I derived some of my funds that I use to buy my cards.
✨Season Progress
4 days left and new season wil start again. I am currently at Gold 3 league and so far able to accumulate 100,000 glint.
✨$SPS Profit
My $SPS profit mostly comes from modern rank format. I am also consistently doing brawl and tournament. This week I haven't touch the frontier because I am more focus on earning $SPS and Glint. This are my Tournament rewards since last sept until today. Considering I am only playing novice and bronze league in tournament, I still earn that much. That is why I am continously upgrading my card collection to add another league on my tournament level. But of course all this tournament has an entry fee, but its so little compare to what I get as reward.
✨Cards I Bought This Week
Since I am playing modern, I needed cards that belongs to Rebellion and Conclave Arcana core set. I manage to get 6 cards this week that is all my funds allowed me to.

This time I go for the Epic Rarity, those 6 cards are always on my list to rent in peakmonster every season. Now I eliminated their cost, meaning additional profit.
✨Why I Chose This Cards
Redwyrm Dragon - this card belongs to Dragon Element from Rebellion Core Set. Its a magic damage unit with flying and immunity ability at level 2. I mainly chose to buy this because I paired it with Night Reaper, basically to safeguard Night Reaper if enemy use it as well since its ability of Wingbreak is to target unit with flying ability with an additional of two damage. Basically its a sacrifice card for Night Reaper because the latter has a better stats.
Aranduriel - this card belongs to Dragon Element as well from Conclave Arcana Core Set. A range unit with painforge and sneak ability. With the introduction of reckless ruleset painforge ability has now becomes one of the most useful ability in battle. Being an elf it can benefit if summon with the same elf bloodline.
Songale - also from Dragon Element and Conclave Arcana Core Set, this epic unit has reckless, taunt, and enrage ability at level 2. Using this unit in reckless ruleset will not hurt anymore. And this unit is tankish in stats and has a pretty decent damage. Being a Drakoshan Bloodline, it can benefit as well if paired with Kavorn Skarn.
Ferrous Brewer - a Neutral Unit from Conclave Arcana Core Set, is a physical damage type of card with charge ability. It will attack at any position. When summon by Fithe Bladestone it will benefit from its bloodline by having the void ability. I think thats what conclave arcana stands out from other set is the bloodline ability. It totally changes the game.
Leolin Sifu - also from Conclave Arcana Core Set and belongs to Life Element. With true and relentless strike. Tank type unit and can also be paired with flank ability unit. Very good card as well in different ruleset like equal opportunity, super sneak, and weak magic. If paired with Elias Max Pruitt then armor piercing suits Leolin Sifu best.
Umbral Elemental - also from Conclave Arcana Core Set that belongs to Death Element. This epic unit has taunt and swiftness ability. Has pretty decent stats for a tank. But fury is its weakness. So I only use it in lost legendary ruleset to avoid barashkukor.
✨Value of My Card Collection
I had spent a decent amount to gather my card collection. But as we all know card value may drop eventually might some will retain its value or even go higher. My purpose of collecting cards is to use in battle in different format in Splinterlands so regardless of the value declining or increasing I will still continue building my deck on a weekly basis until I have it all.
