For this weeks Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge, the theme is all about knowledge-sharing.
My Tip Number 1.
The community of Splinterlands not only exist here in Peakd but also very active on X. So if you are new in Splinterlands I advise you to create X account(formerly tweeter). You will read a lot and I am sure you will also be inspired to build asset in Splinterlands. You will find people who are really passionate about the game. I myself benefits from this generous people of the community, from cards to packs and $SPS. In return I also pay it forward when theres a new player onboard. What an amazing community right?! You can only find it here in Splinterlands on X.
My Tip Number 2.
Most of the new player might not be familiar on how we earn rewards in rank battle especially if you came from Frontier Format where battling is all you do and claim card as rewards. Eventually you will move on to battle with the big boys of Splinterlands in Modern, Survival or Wild. $SPS staking plays a big role to earn $SPS and Glint. Let me show you the a table of diffirent league tier stake $SPS requirement.
Its a very simple guide, from left side is the league tier, followed by the multiplier and corresponding amount of stake $SPS. As you climb the league the larger the amount of stake $SPS require, you might say I cannot come up with that SPS. True, I myself don't have that much stake, but, thats where the rental of $SPS comes in. You can click this link for peakmonster website. My Tip Number 3
Now that you have the knowledge of how do we earn rewards from battle, I would like to ask you if you have enough cards to battle in rank? Assuming you put little money only to buy the packs or cards in modern format, you can rent some cards ingame or in peakmonster. Renting out cards gives you a chance to use it in a season by paying $DEC. The advantage of renting cards is you can familiarise yourself with the cards thru battle and later on you will know what type of player you are and you can decide what are the best cards for you to invest in. Investing in cards is good in the long run.
My Tip Number 4
Now you are a battle mage and surely hungry for more. Tournament and Brawl is your next stop, this is much more intense and exciting. There is a minimal entry fee in Tournament but if you perform well you will can bag sweet $SPS, $DEC, Cards, Packs, etc.
On the other hand Brawl is completely free, not that high $SPS reward but still the enjoyable. First of all, you need to find a Guild, its like a clan of tribe in other games where you will battling with other guild once a week. Merit is also one the rewards in Brawl, its the only way to buy the Gladius Pack to be able to obtain the Gladius Cards or the Gladiator as I like to call it. The ability of Gladiator is very rare that only few are in other set if cards.
Just look at that $$$ specifically assigned to Tournament. Its a sweet money but you have to battle for it to claim it.
I still have a lot of tips but it will be too long for just one post. Perhaps in my next post I will be discussing other source of income in Splinterlands like:
- Land
- Card Airdrop
- Card Rentals
- In Game and External Liquidity Pool
I would also like to add that for us to grow in Splinterlands, we need to have an investment attitude towards the game. Though some of us don't have the ability to always reinvest or add more money, at least slowly building will help us and the economy of Splinterlands.
