Hello splinterlands lovers how are you all I hope all are fine I am also fine. so today I crocheted a splinterlands character because I know crochet very well and crochet is very fun I completed this in 3 hours but I did not even feel that 3 hours passed because I was enjoying making it very much. So the name of this character is vampire bat and it is a common card character and its mana cost is 3. so I basically made its keychain and it became very cute I really liked its final result so that is why I thought to share its tutorial with you all. So let’s start making it.
materials needed
So to make this splinterlands vampire bat the things we will need are these.
Black color yarn, Pink color yarn, White color yarn, 3.0mm hook, Black beads, Keychain ring, Needle, Scissor, Cotton, Stitch marker.
So to make this vampire bat we will need these things.
making the head
So first let’s start making its head. So to make this head first make a magic ring then make 6 single stitches in it. Then in row 2 make increase on every stitch total we will have 12 stitches. Then in row 3 make 1 single stitch and 1 increase. Then in row 4 make 2 single stitch 1 increase. Now in row 5,6,7,8 make only single stitches in the whole rows. Now in row 9 make 2 single stitches then 1 decrease in the whole row. Now after completing row 9 we will make eyes and mouth. Then in row 10 make 1 single stitch then 1 decrease in the whole row. Now we will fill cotton nicely then in row 11 make decreases in the whole row. Now close its small hole with the help of needle so like this the bat head is ready.
the ears
Now let’s make the vampire bat ears so to make this make a magic ring then make 2 chains then make 1 double crochet then make 3 chains then in first chain make slip stitch. Then make one more double crochet then make 2 chains then make slip stitch in the magic ring then close the magic ring so like this 1 ear is made now make the second ear the same way. Then attach the ears to the head.
making the body
Now let’s make the bat body so to make this again make a magic ring then make 6 single stitches in it. now in row 2 make 1 single stitch then 1 increase and in row 3 make 2 single stitch then 1 increase. Now in row 4 make 3 single stitches then 1 increase. In row 5 and 6 make only single stitches in the whole rows. Then in row 7 make 3 single stitch then 1 decrease. In row 8 make 2 single crochet 1 decrease. In row 9 make 1 single crochet 1 decrease. Then fill cotton then in row 10 make all decreases then last close the hole with the help of needle. Now attach the body to the head with the help of needle.
Making the wings
Now last let’s make its wings. So making wings is a little hard. So to make wings make 6 chains then in row 2 make 4 single stitch then in last stitch make slip stitch then make 1 chain then skip the slip stitch stitch then in next stitch make single stitch then mark it with stitch marker then in next 3 stitches also make single stitches then make 4 chains then in 3rd chain make slip stitch then in chain 1 and 2 make single stitch. Now in row 3 make 1 single stitch then in next stitch make increase then again make single stitches till stitch marker stitch then in stitch marker stitch make slip stitch then again make 1 chain then skip the slip stitch then in next 2 stitches make 1 single stitch. Then make 1 increase in next stitch now in remaining stitches also make single stitch leaving the last one now again make 4 chains then stitch it like the previous row pattern.
Now again in marked stitch make slip stitch then make 1 chain then skip the slip stitch then in next stitch make 1 single stitch then in next stitch make increase then in remaining stitches make single stitch leaving the last stitch then again make 4 chains and stitch it like the previous row pattern. Now in next row make only single stitches leaving the last stitch. Then in next stitch make 5 slip stitch then make 3 chains then make slip stitch in the same stitch now in remaining stitches also make slip stitch and thats it. Now make 2 wings like this then attach them together then join them to the body with the help of needle.
Final result
